If you have pain associated with a chronic condition, you may feel like the continuous battle with pain is impossible to win. Zumba Gold Class
Routines feature the fusion of Latin and international music and dance themes that tone and sculpt the entire body creating a one of a kind workout. Children will learn what to expect with the arrival of their new sibling. Our hospital will become a camping/hiking area of exploration and activities to help children become more comfortable with the idea of having a new baby at home. Monday, Feb. 6, 6 pm – 7:30 pm, $15 (Event Code: 6B13)
Prepared Childbirth Education Class
During this 3-session class, mothers and their support persons will learn about the labor and birth process, methods of relaxation, breathing and pushing techniques, and available pain medication, as well as preparing for an unexpected cesarean birth. Must be at least 30 weeks gestation to attend class. Thursdays, Jan. 5, 12 and 19 or Wednesdays, Feb. 1, 8 and 15, 6 pm – 9 pm, $65 (Event Code: 6B04)
Weekend Childbirth Class
Participants will learn a specific 5-step technique to calm and comfort their infant or help them sleep better and longer. A DVD and CD are included with the class.
