Fink isn’t sure whether or not the group will continue once school starts again. It depends on what the neighborhood kids want.
“If they want to continue, then we will,” she says.
Although Fink’s living room has only enough room to serve the children in the Enclave at Ash Creek, she hopes other readers in the East Dallas area will follow her lead and create similar reading groups for youngsters. She also says she’d be happy to mentor anyone who needs help getting started.
