Over Bas Geerts De schilderijen van Bas Geerts lijken een continue dialoog met de kijker aan te gaan. Dit in de eerste plaats als gevolg van het gebruikte materiaal: de toeschouwer ziet zich weerspiegeld in het glanzende bladmetaal, terwijl veranderend daglicht invloed uitoefent op de vele reflecties. Tegelijkertijd ligt er aan deze lyrische werken een strenge logica ten grondslag: de ontwerpen zijn gebaseerd op door Geerts zelf geschreven algoritmen, in een poging de aanwezigheid van de kunstenaar in het werk te minimaliseren. Thieu laat zich inspireren door de relatie tussen

Samen ontwikkelden ze deze sociale firma, waar zowel de mensen uit het werk van Renske (vanuit de psychiatrie) als uit het werk van Toetsie (de jeugdzorg, jongvolwassenen) als vanuit de veranderende samenleving (mensen die ander werk willen, het even niet weten, het allang weten, hun taal willen oefenen, gepensioneerd zijn) bij elkaar komen om een mooi product te maken. Een netwerk ontstaat en biedt mogelijkheden.

About Tijdmakers Art duo Tijdmakers is formed by Saskia Hoogendoorn & Lieuwe Martijn Wijnands. Hoogendoorn (1973) graduated in Social Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, Wijnands (1970) graduated in Design at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and Culture, Organization & Management at the VU University Amsterdam. They create art & design projects to inspire & connect people with beautiful stories and experiences.
