Moving aircraft on the ground may be accomplished by attaching a tow bar to the nose landing gear. Towing turn limits are 50° to each side of center. These turn limits are marked on the nose strut and must be strictly observed to prevent nose gear damage. Procedure – Towing (safety precautions) Close all aircraft doors. Aircraft may be towed with gust locks engaged. CAUTION DO NOT TOW AIRCRAFT WITH NOSE WHEEL STEERING ARMED AND BATTERIES ON. DAMAGE TO THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING ACTUATOR CYLINDERS IS PROBABLE.
