PROM HAS BEEN A TRADITION FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS, AND WELL IF YOU ARE JUST LIKE ME, YOU ARE EXCITED TO JUST DRESS UP FOR ONE NIGHT BUT THERE’S SOME THINGS THEY DON’T TELL YOU ABOUT PROM!

Don’t be so quick to assume someone will ask you, unless you have a boyfriend or girlfriend who you both know

clearly you will go together! Take the leap and ask someone who you know will say yes! It’s not fun to be two weeks away from prom, and still be dateless! If you don;t get a date then go with some friends, that’s always so exciting because you get to just relax and not worry if your date is having a great time or not! Besides having a date is so 1999! We all know boys and girls are so stressful! Don’t expect a promposal!

Don’t get a limo or anything, because let’s be honest here nobody will even see it because everyone will already be inside.

SO chances are the only people who will see it, are the parents that dropped their children off! Limos are a waste of money! save that money for something. Prom isn’t like the movies, you will not roll up with your head out your rooftop limo, and everyone will clap! Nope, doesn’t ever work like that. Most likely you will pull up to the school, and nobody will be there, because everyone will be inside!

IF SOMEONE SAYS NO TO YOUR INVITAON TO PROM DON’T BE OFFENDED BECAUSE THEY SECRETLY LIKE YOU AND ARE JUST SHY, AND YOU ARE TOO COOL FOR THEM ANY AYS!

If you are wearing a long dress, you DON’T have to wear six inch heels! Nobody will see it! It’s no point in being in pain for schools

nobody will see, now I’m not saying where really low shoes, but wear shoes that are comfortable for you. To be honest everybody usually ends up taking off their shoes when they get to the school. Nobody really dances in heels all night!

[Chuckie] We started Lokul Divisons just so we can show everyone what we are capable of by rapping and bringing something new to the table and that’s art. We all have different styles, we don’t sound alike. Laquan (Jodie Fenix) has a 90’s era style and Brian (King Eternal), he has a hood/ city approach type of style. I was raised in East Baltimore down the Alameda, I went to LeithWalk Elementary. I was the kid who stayed getting suspended for “entertaining” the class. Music has been in my family for many generations and I got into it when I was about 9. Really at this stage in my life I see myself growing up fast like I just turned 18 and I’m c/o 2014, I remember my first day of high school up Reginald F. Lewis like it was yesterday. It’s crazy, time goes by fast so I’m trying to have my goals achieved on time.
