Autore: Simona Meriggi Performers: Beatrice Balzani, Manuel Amati, Giorgia Giannini, Lorenzo Della Pasqua Lo spettacolo messo in scena, nasce con lo scopo di sensibilizzare sul tema del cyberbullismo, sul peso che possono avere immagini e parole e sulle conseguenze, talvolta tragiche, per chi rimane vittima.
"Le parole che fanno male, nasce da una mia idea di alcuni anni fa, una decina, circa, in cui avrei voluto utilizzare la fotografia per rappresentare quanto le ferite dovute a offese o minacce restassero impresse nel corpo e nella mente delle persone oggetto delle ingiurie. Immaginavo il corpo delle persone nudo, perché le offese spesso spogliano una persona della propria dignità. Le bende, che hanno un significato curativo, in questo caso lasciano intravedere le parole che hanno colpito, fatto male e lasciato il segno e quindi rappresentano un tentativo di proteggersi, di guarire dalla sofferenza ricevuta, ma anche la difficoltà a cancellare del tutto il dolore causato da essa. Negli anni questa idea ha subito modifiche ed è stata soggetta a evoluzioni fino ad arrivare a prendere la forma di una performance live, con voci e movimenti ad accompagnare le foto." The show was born with the goal to raise awareness on cyberbullying, on the weigh that images and words can have, and on the
consequences, sometimes tragic, for the victims.
"Le parole fanno male was born from an idea I had some years ago, maybe ten, in which I wanted to use photography to represent how much the wounds inflicted by threats and abuse can remain imprinted in both body and mind of the people insulted. I imagined people's body naked, because the offences often disvest a person of its own dignity. The bandages, which have a healing meaning, in this case let you get a glimpse of the word that hit, hurt and let a mark, and therefore represent an attempt to protect ourselves, to recover from the suffering inflicted to us, but also how hard it is to erease all the pain caused. During the years, this idea was modified and was subjected to evolutions until it took form into a live performance, with voices and movements to accompany the photographs." [Simona Meriggi]
