Today, Tomorrow, Together Making sustainable impact
This is our chance. The moment to help shape the future we all want to see for our students, for agriculture, for the environment, for education, for Greece. A bold vision in a time of economic crisis? Perhaps. But we believe in creating solutions where others see roadblocks. We believe in teaching our students to provoke meaningful change, not merely embrace it. We believe that times of adversity breed exciting opportunities for those who are prepared to seize them. We believe in feeding the minds that will help feed the world. And we believe in the power of partnerships. By supporting one of the three priority areas of our Campaign today, you help bring deserving young men and women one step closer to a brighter tomorrow.
Together, we can make this vision a reality.
PRIORITY
#1 Scholarships Give OPPORTUNITY Giorgos and Eleni Studying today, planning for tomorrow
Many of our students come from rural backgrounds from across Greece, the majority from families of very limited means. These young men and women represent the most vulnerable strata of Greek society, but also those most benefited by the holistic education offered at the American Farm School & Perrotis College, in areas vital to Greece’s economy.
With the oldest and largest scholarship program in Greece, we have made it a core part of our mission to provide significant financial assistance to those in need, so that they may gain access to the education and opportunities they deserve. Every student in the AFS High School, Perrotis College, and Perrotis Junior College, receives financial aid to subsidize tuition and room and board as necessary, with assistance ranging from partial to full scholarships. Additional scholarships are awarded annually based on merit.

PRIORITY
#3 Campus Infrastructure Build FOUNDATIONS Learning happens in inspiring settings. The most innovative programs require an on-going investment in keeping learning facilities, equipment, and other tools current, so that students can learn first-hand the new developments in their field of study, and so that they can contribute meaningfully to research and innovation.
As our student body grows and diversifies, so does the urgency for additional space in surroundings that spark creativity and stimulate innovation, while the constantly expanding demands of the agro-food industry dictate the need for access to increasingly specialized training materials.
