INFINITE LIFE CYCLE
Inspired by nature and the beauty of handcrafted processes, the SurfaceSet® 2022 Collection marks a new era of commercial design.
Formica Corporation empowers designers with new tools to usher in a bright new future by welcoming four solid colors, six woodgrains, ten patterns and two textures into the Formica® Laminate family.

1.Birchbark
The natural world gives us an endless selection of beautiful visuals to inspire us in our daily lives and enable us to craft biophilic designs that provide a sense of comfort and renewal. The new Birchbark Formica® Laminate pattern was created through the ultimate creative process: taking a walk in nature.
In fact, nature is a key element of the Safe Haven theme, one of the driving design forces behind the Formica® High Pressure Laminate (HPL) SurfaceSet® 2022 commercial introduction. This innovative collection includes a panoply of surfaces that offer the reassurance of nature, allowing us to feel safe in uncertain times.
2.Paperfold
A counterpoint to today’s digital world, paper is an everyday surface that takes us back to childhood delights: We’ve all crumpled paper and flattened it back out to see what magic might emerge.
In creating the Paperfold series, hand-crumpled paper became the original manuscript for the design, adding wonderful authenticity by marrying two laminate making processes: Formica® solid colour décor papers and printing.
This innovative series embodies the New Order trend of focusing on simple, recognizable materials like paper making within the Formica® High Pressure Laminate (HPL) SurfaceSet® 2022 collection.
The 2022 DecoMetal® Laminates Collection includes seven trend-worthy metal options for elevating commercial spaces. This introduction by Formica Corporation enhances the existing collection with more painted solid metals as well as woven textured and hand-rubbed metals in warm light tones, brass, copper and black.
As the luxe trend with a nod to Art Deco styling continues in hospitality, retail and other elegant interiors, these new additions expand the options of metal surfacing.
