Scholarship Opportunities For Youth And Adults

Did you know that the VFW and VFW Auxiliary offer scholarships? Yes, we have scholarships to help young people and adults who wish to further their education. One of our scholarships offers a National first prize of $30,000, and that’s nothing to sneeze about. Many of you probably have family members that could benefit from our Scholarship Program. Maybe you have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends who are eligible. The eligibility for participation is open to all youth in public, private or charter schools or homeschool programs. Yes, all students, not just children of VFW or Auxiliary members. The goal of our program is to promote student participation, community awareness, recipient recognition, and increase funding.

Three of the scholarships offer great rewards for our youth. We need to ensure our youth are aware of our patriotic themed programs as our youth are the leaders of the future. Each of our scholarships encourages patriotism, assists in attaining an education, and helps students reach their full potential. The fourth scholarship is for persons 18 years of age and older and is a needs-based scholarship open to VFW Auxiliary members, their spouses, and children. Maybe you know someone who fits these criteria? This is an excellent opportunity for someone to further their education.
