Eunmi Park is a mixed media artist, photographer and graphic designer from South Korea. The artist obtained her degree in Fine Art from Braunschweig College of Arts in Germany, where she also was selected for an artist residency, and began participating in exhibitions and receiving recognition for her work. Park is inspired by her love of popculture films, expressionism, pop art, and conceptual art. Her surrealist works explore the nature and symbolism of guns and violence, and the irony of the use of these phenomena in mainstream visual media. Park creates multi-dimensional pieces that incorporate drawing, photography, computer work, painting, video and installations. She has participated extensively in solo and group exhibitions and has been an artist in residency in programs in Germany and Korea.
