My creations are a reflection of life’s potential, exploring the idea of manifesting our uniquely ideal life from the seed of our deepest dreams. Raised with the principles of self-awareness and choice inspired by the Women’s Movement, I see my creative process as a form of personal inquiry and growth. My work serves as a metaphor for trusting our intuition and choices to make our most compelling dreams a reality. In my latest series, Visual Orchestra, I blend a variety of materials and techniques–sculpture, drawing, painting, and unique elements in mixed media–to symbolize harmony in blending a diversity of ideas. Just as an orchestra brings together different instruments to create a single beautiful piece of music, my work juxtaposes classical techniques with contemporary approaches, reflecting the beauty of varied perspectives coming together. Each piece in this series is a composition of contrasts, where seemingly incompatible elements find unity. The result is a visual metaphor for a world in balance, where individual differences contribute to a thriving, harmonious whole.
