Mira Seemann is an Iraeli-born artist who has studied painting for several years; two years at an art school in Nataniya, and two additional years at the High Academy School in Anvi, near Jaffa. She works primarily with oil paints and draws inspiration from the vitality of nature. Mira’s impressionistic spontaneity depicts forests, fields, and mountains: imagery which she has acquired through her travels. Mira intends for her artwork to be an inclusive experience for all viewers: a visual journey regardless of religion, race and gender.

I started painting in my youth, and formally studied painting for six years, spending two years in an art school in Netanya, Israel, two years in at the Avni School of Art and Design, and two years learning with private teachers. All of my paintings are wholly original, born from the depths of my soul. Some emerge in my dreams and others surface from my feelings. Most of my paintings present the vitality and beauty of nature, from forest and seascapes, to surrealist scenes and unique compositions of humans and animals. My method is spontaneous, and I often employ impressionist techniques.
