Ramin Barzegar is an Iranian architecture photographer based in Los Angeles. Inspired by Modernism, Postmodernism, and Surrealism, he blends current aesthetics with functional storytelling in a harmonious balance of light, form, and space. Barzegar aims to communicate universally resonant emotions and perspectives. He seeks to bridge diverse audiences through the universal language of art, emphasizing the beauty of architecture’s form and function. To attain this, he captures images in his urban environment, building new perspectives and arrangements through Photoshop collaging. Central themes in his work revolve around the interplay between nature and humanity, intricately depicting their symbiotic relationship. Embracing meticulous planning and spontaneous expression, his photography evolves organically, crafting visual narratives that provoke emotions and contemplation, inviting viewers to explore profound layers of meaning within each image. He says, “My artworks serve a dual purpose. Initially, they are a source of personal fulfillment, a canvas where I find satisfaction in expressing my creativity. Beyond this personal satisfaction, my overarching goal is innovation, a desire to capture and share the beauty I perceive in the world through my art.”

To achieve this, I photograph forms that resonate with me, utilizing Photoshop to manipulate angles and create collages building new perspectives. I celebrate the delicate balance between aesthetics and utility, striving for harmony. Themes that often find a place in my creations revolve around the intricate connection between nature and humanity, capturing the essence of this symbiotic relationship. The process itself is a delicate dance between meticulous planning and spontaneous expression, allowing my photography to organically evolve.
