As part of the Paspaley Pearls flagship boutique store, which was converted from a Heritage listed banking chamber, the architects, DesignFocus, enlisted the help of AGP to install an imposing sliding door to its Martin Place entrance. A Record STA16 DUO operator was required, with two motors to drive open the 430kg weight of the sliding door wings, which are 4090mm high by 1070mm wide in 19mm toughened glass. Despite the size of the door wings, the operator has performed flawlessly. In the project AGP also installed the ornate curved balustrading around the main entry stairs, as well as five other smaller sliding doors inside the store.

As part of the refurbishment of this existing commercial building, AGP was contracted by Bovis Lend Lease to design and install the impressive frameless glass assembly at the George Street entry. This glass box provides a modern facade to the building and is supported off a combination of glass fins, spider fittings and tensile cables. With such a frameless glass entry, a suitable method of providing automatic sliding entry doors was required, without detracting from the frameless appearance. AGP solved this problem by installing Record slimline sliding operators which were bolted off the glass screen itself.

Qantas Sydney Domestic Terminal Mascot NSW, Australia
Since the mid 1990s AGP has installed over 20 Record sliding and bi-folding door operators to the Qantas Domestic Terminal in Sydney. A feature of these installations is the main entry sliding doors, where despite heavy traffic flows and minimal maintenance, they continue to work as flawlessly today as when they were first installed. The quality of the Reocrd operator, and its reputation as a reliable, elegant and low noise automatic operator, has been apparent, with AGP continuing to install more operators in further Qantas Airport Terminal developments.
