PRODUCT INFORMATION
Twinglock
Transparent 2-wing security gate AGP Twinglock offers a stylish indoor security access control system. Constructed from frameless tempered glass and stainless steel, AGP Twinglock is similar to AGP Winglock, but as the name suggests has two door wings instead of one. The advantage of this is that the smaller door wings can close more quickly than the AGP Winglock doors. Two-Wing Turnstile Due to the advanced sensor technology, the two simultaneously operating door wings open and close swiftly, thereby allowing successive access in both directions. AGP Winglock is a very space efficient barrier. The glass and stainless steel transparent design can match any surroundings, without creating an obtrusive barrier. Opening Modes AGP Twinglock has two opening modes. The standard mode creates a narrower entrance for passage of a single authorised person and in the special mode for wheelchairs, trolleys or large luggage, the door wings are fully opened to 90˚, to create a wider passage. In case of an emergency, the door wings will also fully open to offer a wide escape route.
Bi-directional Access AGP Winglock provides fully automatic bi-directional access control barrier which can be operated by an external control panel at the reception desk or with an access control system, such as a card reader. AGP Winglock Features • Two door wings creating a wide passage • Sensor controlled door wings open and close quickly • Additional photocell sensors for unauthorised passage detection • Appropriate barrier for a wide range of applications • Bi-directional access control
How does the Twinglock work? AGP Twinglock is always locked in the rest position. The user can be authorised via a card read system. Alternatively authorisation can be given via an external control panel, for example, at a reception desk. Once authorisation is given, the door wings open to 70˚ (or 90˚ in case of a special pulse) and close again by a timed action, where after the mechanism locks. AGP Twinglock will always open in the direction of passage. Activated by photocell sensors the door wings will close immediately behind the authorised person, preventing a second (unauthorised) person from entering. Reverse/Stop Mechanism AGP Twinglock has a reverse/stop mechanism where a person or object obstruction a door wing will immobilise the door immediately. The wings will then open, thereby avoiding that anyone becomes trapped between the two door wings. Two seconds later the AGP Twinglock will close slowly and then resume normal operation. In the event of a power failure, the door wings can be moved manually in either direction.
Working Principle Modes Working principle modes are possible in each direction: • Free access; • Access closed with electronic opening via card reader, and/or control panel.
