Lift-Up Glass Roofs Hunters Wharf Apartments Peninsula Drive, Breakfast Point, Australia Meeting a need to provide a versatile hybrid living space, AGP designed special hydraulically driven lift-up glass roofs for the sun rooms of the penthouse apartments. The design of the lift-up roof allows the inside space to be opened up during suitable weather conditions to provide natural air ventilation, and closed in inclement weather to still provide a usable space. All this achieved in less space than a sliding roof would require. To provide greater sun control, AGP motorised louvres were ďŹ tted the glass roof and both the roof and louvre features are adjusted through the same control switch panel for ease of use.

Sliding Glass Roofs Surf Rock Hotel Pittwater Road, Collaroy Beach, Australia To provide maximum useability from a space all year round, the owners of this public bar in Sydney’s northern beaches decided to install a large operable glass roof. AGP was able to design, supply and install the entire system, from the steel support framing, glazing, drive motors and the electrical and control system. The custom built framing can be either factory or site glazed as required. Silent electric motors will open and close the roof with optional wind and rain sensors providing automatic closing in inclement weather.

Adjustable Awnings Private Residence Cammeray Road, Cammeray, Australia AGP has been at the forefront in designing unique motorised facade treatments that help building developers address development, environmental and architectural concerns. For this private residence in Sydney’s Middle Harbour, specially designed motorised adjustable timber slat awnings were developed to provide both privacy, in the closed position, whilst still allowing light to penetrate, and in the open position permitting unobstructed views and protection from the midday sun. These custom fabricated awnings, controlled by electric actuators, are made from mild steel frames with the rafters available in a range of materials.
