The new record system 20 is designed to fulfil all relevant European safety and security norms and conditions. While opening or closing, it has built-in safety features to ensure door leaves do not push, squeeze, crush or trap pedestrians. New, high-efficiency record sensors monitor door movements, and/or activate the relevant safety features. More safety for pedestrians thanks to the new sensor technology and other safety measures (e.g. protective side screens).

The record system 20 provides optimal safety for escape routes thanks to redundant, self-monitoring, safety components. > Battery monitored module. For emergency opening during power failures using battery energy store. > Total opening system for escape routes. The range of record sliding doors has a wide variety of applications. From the vast range of models just choose the right door to meet your needs and requirements, from the single leaf sliding door to the four-leaf telescopic sliding door, with or without side panels, all finished in the colour, door leaf materials and profile system to suit your architectural design. For especially heavy door leaf solutions, we recommend the record DUO operator, suitable for door leaf weights of up to 2x 150kg. The record system 20 is the new generation of door operators, designed to fulfil all relevant European safety norms and conditions. Hazards to persons such as pushing, squeezing, crushing or trapping are prevented, in line with the relevant norms, using efficient record sensor technology or other means, e.g. elegant protection side screens. record safety and security systems are winners. They fulfil high personal safety standards. In the record range, the following escape and rescue route systems are available: > record SCAPECORD RED, redundant escape route model. The redundant record system 20 ensures maximum safety for escape routes thanks to two independent control systems and permanent monitoring of all safety-relevant components. Should there be a power failure during daylight hours, the rechargeable battery pack ensures emergency operation (emergency opening). During night, locks fitted to the operator prevent unauthorised operation. > record SCAPECORD TOS, the door system with swivelling door leaves and side panels. Safe, convenient, practical… no other product can equalize SCAPECORD TOS. The door system is a multi purpose three-function sliding door, incorporating reliable door automation, safety, security and practical features. The breakout system for emergencies with swivelling door leaves and movable side panels ensures absolute safety and security. During normal operation, the door
system functions reliably and ensures convenient, barrier-free personal access. For bulky objects, the entire width of passage (including side panels) can be conveniently opened to ensure easy access. > record SCAPECORD BMM – Emergency opening with monitored battery power. For escape routes, British Standards in the UK require that an automatic door opens in the case of a power failure. record fulfils this requirement by offering the BMM - the battery monitored module an additional functionality to enhance safety and security of each automatic door system, defined as an escape door. Such doors fitted with record SCAPECORD BMM will continue to do a perfect job even in the case of a power failure. The efficient functionality of the battery is monitored by the system regularly. The record system 20, the new generation of door operators, has been completely re-designed. The innovative operator is the basis of all record door automation applications. The new profile system is available in both in 20 mm or 32 mm sizes, and the operator housing is supplied in two variants, with smooth or ribbed surfaces, and in two dimensions, 108 mm or 150 mm. The 150 mm variant makes the door leaf profile invisible, as it is integrated into the operator housing. Great attention has once again been paid to smooth, low-noise operation. The new record door automation system with hardwearing door leaf guides is exceptionally smooth and quiet-running.

Technical Specifications
The new generation of record sliding doors incorporates all the developments and improvements of previous door systems. Among its core features, the new range offers greater flexibility, ease of installation, more room in tight spaces, lighter components, and is independent of mains electricity thanks to the new DC power supply fitted as standard. These features all provide economic and technical benefits, making the system easier to assemble. All operator variants use the same component groups, and are compact, beautiful and easy to fit. A further attractive innovation is the 32 mm profile system with integrated 24 mm insulating glass, which achieves U values of up to 1.2 Wm2 K.

Trigger sensors
The remote control unit in modern design features both text and graphic displays with easy-to-use menus. It is exceptionally user-friendly, with displays available in several languages, and easy to read, thanks to the illuminated display. Operating modes are easily selected and door functions simple to programme. The record BDE-D is available in standard size (60 x 60 mm) or slim-line version (44 x 92 mm), and is also available with key-operated lock to prevent unauthorised operation.
The RAD 290 radar motion detector generates a pulse to trigger opening, and its 32-bit micro processor communicates continuously with the door control unit. The device possesses simultaneous processing, and is easy to configure thanks to the conveniently designed BDE-D remote control unit. This intelligent detector operates at a frequency of 24 Ghz, and can continuously eliminate pre-learned door movements. The characteristics of the acquisition field can be adjusted electronically and optimised, effectively eliminating interference from extraneous traffic. The new detector is available as surface-mounted or built-in, and is also available in a redundant version. The intelligent AIR 290 presence detector is the ideal solution for entrances with special security requirements. It ensures the safety of the main and side door closing edges, and communicates information continuously with the door control unit.

The innovative record RIC 290 combined device uses a combination of radar microwave and active infrared technologies. It features a new intelligent motion and presence detector to trigger opening reliably, and fulfils high safety standards thanks to twin infra red light curtains in the entrance area of the installation. Its convex lens system enables it to register and process individual light sources, thus ensuring dependable, accurate presence monitoring. The device communicates actively with the door control, detecting persons in the immediate door area, effectively eliminating triggering by own movements and interference by extraneous traffic. The sensor is configured using a system that presents relevant information visually, using a range of languages and symbols. Networked security thanks to record ADM Convenient building management and intelligent building security systems are both becoming increasingly important. The new generation of record automatic doors uses the latest in cutting edge technology. All record door automation applications can be easily and quickly integrated into existing building control systems, thanks to record ADM and the LON-based record interface. These enable user-friendly networking, controlling and visualisation of all door systems.
