PRODUCT INFORMATION

Secured Entry Lane

The unobtrusive and user friendly controlled entry system. Conceptualised, designed and manufactured in Australia by AGP Door Systems, the AGP Secured Entry Lane System provides a building with a high security entrance without compromising its striking appearance and user friendliness. Single or Multiple Lane System AGP Secured Entry Lane System can be a single or multiple lane system with controlled access in either one or both directions. The system can interface with an existing building security system that would validate a card reader signal and authorise entry through the bi-fold doors. As an option, a stand alone system can also be provided to validate a card reader signal. Flexible Design A fully customised system, AGP will work with the client to provide them with a system that meets their specific security, access and architectural requirements.

High Security Entrances AGP Secured Entry Lane System is ideal in areas where a high level of security has to be balanced with ease and speed of operation. The system is well suited to government buildings, airports and corporate offices where high throughput of users is experienced. Reduced Security Costs It is a system that will pay for itself, with low on going running costs due to the reduced need for manned security guards to control entry into, and egress from a building.

Control options with the Secured Entry Lane System Option 1 - Controlled Entry, Free Egress To control only the entry into a secured area, the bi-fold doors are situated at the controlled end of the lanes and are programmed to normally stay open. When an authorised signal has been given to the access system, through a security device such as a card reader, the door will remain open as the authorised person passes through the lane. For exit from the secured area, the authorised person simply has to walk through a free lane and into the unsecured area.

Option 2 - Controlled Entry, Controlled Egress To control both the entrance and egress from a controlled area, bi-fold doors are required at both ends of the lanes. Users are required to not only scan their access card to enter the secured area, but also when they want to leave. This system provides even tighter security, as it allows for the recording of persons remaining in the building, which will prevent multi-badging taking place.

If an unauthorised person attempts to enter a lane, electronic sensors will detect their presence, and send a signal to the bi-fold doors for that lane only to close, preventing their access into the secured area. The person will be required to return to the unsecured area and an alarm will notify security of the attempted breach. Before Security resets the lane they can check it visually or by CCTV, which can be interfaced with the system for additional security and/or review.

Both of these Secured Entry Lane System options can be configured to have the bi-fold doors programmed to remain in the closed position when the lane is not being used. For additional security, with a small decrease in throughput time, the doors will open only when an authorised person scans their card. AGP can advise you on what system would best suit your security needs.
