Cloud 9 is a hotel within a hotel A total luxury experience Cloud nines were airborne habitats proposed for the first time by the great engineer and inventor Buckminster Fuller. They were enormous geodesic spheres, and were made to levitate by heating the air inside. These floating cloud nines could be manoeuverable so that they could “migrate” in response to climatic and environmental conditions. Inspired by this wonderful utopian vision of Fuller for a future society, of gigantic “clouds” silently levitating above us, we have named our exclusive club on the fourth floor Cloud 9.
