creative hub interior design :
Dharma Negara Alaya
concept
dharma negara alaya art & creative hub with cultural island and contemporary interior design concept. Bali is known for it’s nature and culture. From it’s tropical coastline, beautiful view of rice terrace, ancient history, and unique culture can be experienced in the island of Bali. Dharma Negara Alaya Art & Creative Hub as a creative hub located in Denpasar, Bali, can’t be separated by those two factors as it’s identities. With it’s main purpose to support the all the creators from creative industries, mainly for the younger generations, Dharma Negara Alaya Art & Creative Hub needs to be a comfortable place for the creators to pour their ideas. Either from it’s facilities or it’s working nuance. Therefore, the combination of Bali as cultural island and contemporary design can be applied to the interior as it can support and reflect their identities as a creative hub and the local culture. Maker Space is a workshop area that is divided into three areas such as fashion lab, visual lab, and culinary lab. It has a focus on the Parahyangan concept in Tri Hata Karana, which is the relationship between God and human. It is applied through the transformation of lotus or known as Padma as it’s aesthetic elements. The Padma itself is known to be a sacred flower in Hinduism. The culture of menyama braya can be seen through the furniture layout. By using open plan concept and providing facilities for interacting and collaborating, such as communal work desks, can represent the characteristics of menyama braya, which is openness and intimacy. visual lab. area rendered with enscape

Co Working area is divided into four room with four different ambiences. The main concept of this area is Pawongan, which is the relationship between human and human, as the function of this room is for discussion or brainstorming between creators. The concept of Pawongan is applied through the use of Balinese patterns. The four different ambiences are influenced by the concept Kapha in Tri Dosha, which is consists of water and earth elements.
The first room is called Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity that is identical to rice fields. Therefore, this room is applying a lot of elements that can resemble or give rice field-like impression, just like in Jatiluwih. One of them is the characteristic of the soil is a rice field which is applied on the right wall by using natural white sandstone. The second room is called Sangkara, the god of plants. In this room, it takes the impression of Puri Ubud with red bricks as the main characteristic.

The third room is called Baruna for it’s main purpose is to give an impression of white sand beach. The characteristics can be seen through the use of waves-like elements, colors, and decorations. The right wall uses white sandstone to support the impression of a white sand beach. The ceiling is decorated with waves and tassel lights as an additional decoration.
The fourth room is called Makara, which takes the impression of the black sand beach. The character of black sand beach is emphasized by the use of dark sandstone on the walls. Makara itself is the vahana of Baruna and is usually seen in Hinduism temple. The transformation pattern of Makara is applied on the wall decoration and TV storage.

Therefore, this area is designed to be more relaxed with a wider circulation and impression so that it becomes more flexible in activities. The partitions placed between the sofas are given indoor plants to provide a fresh atmosphere and support the Palemahan concept. cafe area rendered with enscape

Japandi Themed Apartment Design
concept
rendered with enscape
Home Decoration is one of the extra classes in interior design ITS. From this class, the writer learned again about how to make moodboard, choosing materials, making material boards, and making decorations. The apartment design and styling is the final project for this class. The issue is to imagine herself as the user and how to make the whole space represent her existence. Being a uni-student with loads of assignments and organization activities despite being a home body person, she dreams of a space that can relax her mind on her free time.
Japandi is popular with the concept of Wabi Sabi, to support the look she colored the walls with beige textured paint. To bring the sense of calmness, she applied a repetitive compotition of geometric shapes for the furniture. The use of natural elements and nature oriented colors is to bring the sense of nature into the room. The space is divided into four area consists of living area, rest area, kitchen, and bathroom. To give some privacy to the rest area, she elevated the floor and put a large multi function storage.
Apartment Interior Design Sustainable design can’t be separated from the environment, namely nature as the root of human life, and the house which is the root for creating an environment or a place for activities that are comfortable for its users. This room is designed with compact and minimalist furniture designs. The materials used here are sustainable materials such as bamboo parquet, vinyl, and plywood. Indoor plants as decorations can help change the air in the room.

The design concept of this unit is how users come from a narrow hallway that lacks natural light into a spacious living area full of natural light. Therefore, furniture is placed around the wall to provides a large space in the middle. The hallway is designed with glass that fills most of the walls and wall storage. The mirror helps the narrow nature of the space feel wider.
In this area, the area for rest and work is above the bed frame with a slight difference in floor elevation, which is also designed with additional storage underneath. The folding table beside the pantry can be opened wider so that it can be used as an additional work area.
Modern Minimalist Kitchen Design This kitchen used the combination of dark wood finishing and bronze reflective glass as the accent to the space. It also gives more contemporary and sophisticated look despite being minimalist.

There are many types of fabrics that use this double tie technique, it is said that there are up to 20 types, but only 10-12 types of pattterns are still being worked on. One of them is Lubeng. There are several kinds of Lubeng, namely Lubeng Luhur which is the longest, Lubeng Petang Dasa, and Lubeng Pat Likur. This type of Gringsing Lubeng Fabric is the basic idea of making ARUNA chairs. The combination of red, yellow, and black is the hallmark of Gringsing Fabric. With the use of the combination color from Gringsing fabric, the name ARUNA emerged as the name of this chair.
