A father, mother, son, an elderly who needs to use a wheelchair in her daily activities, and one helper. It was also stated that the family is a Japanese family who owns a house and lives in the city. With the whole background, she decided to used Japandi as the theme for the house. Japandi theme brought the culture from the Japanese elements and modernness from the Scandivanian looks. This style also communicates sense of calmness, clean looking atmosphere, breath, and neatness. Home Decoration is one of the extra classes she took on her third year studying in ITS. From this class, she was reminded and learned again about how to make moodboard, choosing materials, making material boards, and making decorations. The apartment design and styling is the final project for this class. The issue is to imagine herself as the user and how to make the whole space represent her existence.
Rest Area Persepective View Rendered with Enscape
Concept Japandi is popular with the concept of Wabi Sabi, to support the look she colored the walls with beige textured paint. To bring the sense of calmness, she applied a repetitive compotition of geometric shapes for the furniture. The use of natural elements and nature oriented colors is to bring the sense of nature into the room.
Being a uni-student with loads of assignments and organization activities despite being a homebody person, she dreams of a space that can relax her mind on her free time. She also has a good numbersof albums collection and she needs a large storage to store and display them at the same time
Layout The space is divided into four area consists of living area, rest area, kitchen, and bathroom. To give some privacy to the rest area, she elevated the floor and put a large multi function storage.

Therefore, furniture is placed around the wall to provides a large space in the middle. The hallway is designed with glass that fills most of the walls and wall storage. The mirror helps the narrow nature of the space feel wider.

Inspired by the culture of drinking tea in Japan, the room is divided with a slight difference in the floor elevation. In this area, the area for rest and work is above the bed frame which is also designed with additional storage underneath. Tri Hita Karana are the three causes of happiness according to Hinduism which is the belief of the majority of the Balinese People. The three causes of happiness are the human relationship with God, the human relationship with humans, and the human relationship with the environment or nature around them. Aruna : Gringsing Inspired Wooden Stool Chair Furniture Design_2018
Gringsing woven fabric is a woven fabric from the Bali Aga tribe, originating from Pegeringsingan Village, Tenganan. There are many types of fabrics that use this double tie technique, it is said that there are up to 20 types, but only 10-12 types of pattterns are still being worked on. One of them is Lubeng. There are several kinds of Lubeng, namely Lubeng Luhur which is the longest, Lubeng Petang Dasa, and Lubeng Pat Likur. This type of Gringsing Lubeng Fabric is the basic idea of making ARUNA chairs. The combination of red, yellow, and black is the hallmark of Gringsing Fabric. With the use of the combination color from Gringsing fabric, the name ARUNA emerged as the name of this chair. Where ARUNA itself means "reddish brown" in Sanskrit. It's also the name of the Hindu god - Aruna, who is the charioteer of the Sun God-Surya.
