Study of landscape sensitivity, suitability and capacity
Sensitivity, suitability were evaluated for each 19 areas and each season, then capacity was made.
Sensitivity
By making rational decisions the factors have an outcome of 1-3
the factor is per character.
Suitability
The suitability is determined for all sorts of recreational activities. The categories specialise in 3 things:
Is it on land or in the water?
Is it done in summer, winter or midseason?
How impactful is the activity on the area? Low, medium or High?
Capacity -
ent landscape characters. This capacity points out which places in a landscape are suitable for a change.

Project Objective
Based on the LCAs conducted so far, one area is selected within the study area to propose outdoor activities. This time, I chose an area with a lake called Restu and analysed the surrounding environment to suggest activities.

Toyonaka is a city of arts where a professional orchestra and a musical college are located. Although the city itself has been trying to encourage activities related to arts as well, it doesn’t work well. In this project, I planned an arts centre that connects arts and people while considering the promotion and preservation of the arts.

The city in which the site is located
There are professional orchestras and music colleges in the city, and the city encourages activities related to art and culture. Despite this fact, there are few people who can make a living as artists and their activities are not well known by the citizens. The aim is to bring together both types of people in this facility and to promote artistic and cultural exchange.
Four core contents
Music and art are at the heart of the facility's content, with supporting content.
Site planS=1:1000 N
To publicise and inform the public about the activities that take place here.
To keep the records of the activities as sound and visual materials, so that they can be easily accessed for reference when carrying out creative activities.

Concepts for each floor
Ground floor : Communication and dissemination
A floor with a hall, an exhibition room and a radio station. It is a space that attracts the attention of visitors.
Basement floor : Storage
A courtyard separates the space for staff from the space for visitors.
First floor : Creation and development
The floor where the workshops and studios are located. This floor is used to teach children interested in the arts and to provide a place for artists to work.
Structure of halls
Roof with shell structure Combining four roofs

Background
Toba City faces the sea to the north and east. The climate is mild and the entire city area is designated as Iseshima National Park due to its beautiful rias coastline.
Toba City has two problems: ageing tourist facilities and the risk of natural disasters.

Area 1
Tilt the ground slightly to create a sunken garden. On the gentle slope people can lie down and children can run.

Area 2
The structure needs to be able to withstand the tsunami. In addition, there must be a route for immediate evacuation to higher ground in case of emergency. I wrapped these necessities in a hill so that they fit in with the landscape.

Area 3
The prospect terrace will be located in area 3, closest to the sea. It offers a panoramic view of the town surrounded by both sea and mountains.
