about me. I am a proud descendant of the Wiradjuri people of Central New South Wales, growing up in coastal Newcastle, Australia. I feel connection to place, people and cultural pastimes are fundamental to moving forward as a community. My Architectural education was undertaken in my hometown concluding in 2018 within the Master of Architecture program at the University of Newcastle. Througout my career I have lead, particpated and assisted in various sectors, with a significant portion of my experience working on education projects. I yearn to travel and explore the intersection of landscape, culture, art, built form, ofcourse food. I pride myself on being a committed, pragmatic and above all a humane designer.

Project Lead Designer / Assistant Pt.2 Ackroyd Lowrie London | Feb 21 - Present A small design practice based in east London working towards building cities of the future with a focus on regeneration, residential & commercial projects. With my experience in the sector, I lead the offices education projects through stage 1 - 4 design working closely with numerous consultant teams to deliver planning & tender packages for a small number refurbishment & new-build projects. I also assisted developing project feasibility studies for small / medium density residential projects.

My role involved developing PPA packages, stage 2 & 3 design, apartment design, accessibility compliance and MEP services coordination whilst working within a Revit BIM level 2 environment. Project Lead / Graduate of Architecture Pt.2 SHAC - Schreiber Hamilton Architecture, Australia | Mar 18 - Sept 19 A design-focused practice based in Newcastle (Aus) specialising in education, civic & residential projects. My role included acting as a project lead for a small number of projects working directly with directors and consultant teams, I gained invaluable experience in the client-architectural relationship, community consultation, and effective quality assurance strategies for running a successful architectural practice. Architectural Assistant Pt.1 Shaddock Architects, Australia | Nov 13 - Dec 14 A local Newcastle based Architectural practice specialising in Multi-Res developments, Commercial, aged care and alterations & additions. During my time following completion of my undergraduate degree, I assisted with multiple projects producing construction drawings, DA documents, 3D models + visualisations and concept sketches for client presentation and construction.
Trojan workforce employed myself as a casual trades assistant working on many projects in the hunter valley ranging from Singleton Army Barracks to the University of Newcastle. I had to quickly adapt & work within new teams and methods on a day by day basis developing my knowledge in construction materials & techniques.
