Screen system, for two climate zones

Delivery of materials for curtains for: 42 houses of 9.60 m x 76.50 m

Item 3.1

Screen for the roof, push – pull system The system, is split-up in 4 zones: 2 systems of 10 x 9.60 x 76.50 m 2 systems of 11 x 9.60 x 76.50 m

Distance of rafters: 4.50 m.

Side wall height: 6.00 m The systems are mounted flat with the curtains lying on the wires, horizontally and pulled by rack-and-pinions, running from rafter to rafter.

The systems are delivered as push/pull systems.

The driving shaft consists of 1” steel tube shaft driving a Ø32 mm push tube. Further an aluminium rail with weather stripping is mounted at the front edge of the curtains. The house will be provided with 88 pcs rackand-pinions.

The roof is delivered incl. 4 gear motors with built-in end stop.

The bearing and supporting wires are made of nylon. All plastic parts are UV-stable and the iron is either stainless or galvanized.

In order to prevent cold strokes at the sides canopies are delivered.

The gutters will be produced in your greenhouse by our mobile roll forming machine, in order to supply the gutter lengths desired by you. This will enable FormFlex to keep the number of connections to a minimum.

The gutters will be rolled on supports. These supports should be assembled and disassembled by the grower on instruction of FormFlex staff.

If by circumstances, this is not possible, an alternative method will be chosen after consulting with you.

FormFlex will furnish two engineers to roll the gutters. You should have your own personnel available for guiding and installing the gutters in the greenhouse. These activities should take place in consultation with our foreman.

FormFlex will supply extra steel to make sure sufficient steel is always available to finish the project. The surplus of steel remains FormFlex property and will be collected after completion of the project.

Grow gutter Suspension Specifications The suspension will take place using a trellis clamping bracket a truss hook, a steel cable, and a V-bracket The suspension materials are made of sendzimer steel.

Stabilizer suspension To support the gutter in the last section and to stabilize the gutter lengthwise, stabilizer suspensions will be supplied (see attached drawing).
