The glass greenhouse industry has really taken flight from a commercial point of view around 50 years ago. Developments of greenhouses have been many, resulting today in the possibility to build glass greenhouses in all sorts of climate with optimal control of the climate and growing facilities inside the greenhouse, making the best use of light, water and energy. KUBO has always functioned as frontrunner in this field. The objective is to grow vegetables on a commercial basis. It is advised to grow in a Venlo type glass greenhouse. This type of greenhouse was designed many years ago and has proven to be very efficient. The Venlo greenhouse makes it possible to make optimal use of natural light and is highly flexible. Many variations are possible without major alterations to the basic concept. This type of greenhouse is in use on all possible locations worldwide and has proven very successful. As the projected projects are planned to be located in different areas, and will be used for different crops we have to select the best solution in respect to the most optimal situation.
