The program is designed with the mid-level swimmer in mind with the goal of producing well-rounded swimmers with great technique. The emphasis of the program is placed on learning competitive skills, enjoyment of the sport, and lifelong participation in swimming. The Muskies Swim Team competes against other park districts in the Northern Illinois Swim Conference, and took first place in all-conference last winter season. Practices will begin on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 and the season will conclude February 24, 2024. The post season will extend to the second weekend in March for qualified swimmers.
