Parent’s Night Out

Drop off your little ones at Frontier Park for a night full of fun! Children will have the option to participate in games, crafts and other activities planned by our certified babysitters. (EO)

Fiesta Time: Make Your Own Pinata!

In this half day program, children will decorate their very own mini pinata while singing songs in Spanish, learn Spanish words and discover the Mexican culture. All materials are included! (EO)

Glitzy Girlz: Back to School in Style!

Join us for a class to design some fun goodies to get you ready for the school year! Each participant will create a beaded item for a backpack accessory or jewelry. Crafts will include fun accessories for school; decorating with paints, embellishments, stickers and more! A surprise goodie bag gets sent home! (EO)

Glitzy Girlz: GNO Pajama Summer Spa Night

Come out with your friends or get to know new ones! Wear your PJ’s for a pampered night at the spa. Staff will teach manicure & pedicure application. Each person will get a foot/nail brush, cuticle stick and a mini buffer. Class will finish with music and high energy dancing! (EO)

Chess Scholars

Chess has been proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive reaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. (EO) Arlington Ridge Center

Magic Workshop

Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks from the “Magic Team of Gary Kantor”! Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more. (EO)

Self-Esteem Leadership Lab

While building these life skills is an ongoing journey, this workshop is a great kick-off. Everyone is good at something; we just must roll up our sleeves and figure it out. Through wacky dramatizations and experiences, kids will have the chance to cultivate self-worth and will not even realize they are working on it! In a selfabsorbed and competitive world, garnering and keeping self-esteem is sometimes a tall order, but this class will help harness it! (EO)

Bubble Gum Summer Slime NEW!

The last three years have had us all feeling a bit stressed and stretched. This growth mindset will be dramatized and celebrated as we make a batch of amazing bubble gum slime. It will look, feel and smell like nostalgic bubble gum. Kids keep their slime and are offered gum as an optional treat. (EO)

The Thrills & Chills of the Ice Cream Business

Kids can become experts on this billion-dollar industry as they make a batch of homemade ice cream. We will also explore the science, history and franchise history of the beloved amusement park treat, Dippin' Dots. Did you know the founder is from Illinois? Did anyone say BRAIN FREEZE? Lots of samplings, socialization, contests and good old-fashioned fun over summer break. (EO)

Let’s Get Creative! Creative Writing for Kids- VIRTUAL

Let the creative juices flow! In this fun and interactive class, kids will use their own natural talent of creativity and imagination to learn how to effectively develop and write their own stories. Each session covers different activities and topics. Taught by Language in Action, Inc. instructors live on Zoom. Zoom login information will be emailed to participants before each session. (EO)

Home Alone Safety

Participants will learn all about home alone safety including: safe snacks, household rules, stranger danger, house key safety, phone, fire and weather safety. They will also learn basic first aid and “what if” scenarios. Additionally, we will review emergency contacts and knowing when to contact emergency professionals. (EO)

Babysitting

Learn to be a super sitter! Classes will cover child development, emergency & first aid training, activities to do with young children and how to grow your personal babysitting business. (EO)

Language Classes I Speak Spanish!

Introduce your child to the Spanish language in this Spanish immersion class developed especially for very young learners. Children will be immersed in the Spanish language through fun and engaging activities. New material is covered in each session! (EO)

Vamonos Youth Spanish

Learning a second language can open a world of possibilities for your child. In this class, students will learn Spanish conversation and some Spanish grammar, reading and writing skills through interactive & engaging games. New material is covered in each session! (EO)

French & Italian- VIRTUAL

Join us right from your living room as we explore new cultures and learn the Italian language via the interactive Zoom platform! Each session covers new material. Zoom information will be emailed to participants before the first class. (EO)
