Introduction

Do
you
like
gymnastics
or
even
sports?
Well
if
you
do,
you’ll
love
my
book.
 If
you
keep
reading
my
book,
you
will
learn
how
to
do
flips,
what
they
do
in
 gymnastics
and
a
lot
and
I
mean
a
lot
more!
Keep
reading,
and
you
will
be
very
f,
if
 you
do
it.
Listen
carefully
and
if
you
like
gymnastics,
I
bet
you,
all
of
your
dreams
 will
come
true.

The
Tools
You
Need

 Do
you
want
to
learn
what
some
of
the
equipment
is
in
gymnastics?
Well
these
are
 some
of
them:
there
are
mats,
vaults,
trampolines,
parallel
bars,
and
balance
beams
 and,
uh,
there’s
probably
more.
I
love
doing
flips
on
the
parallel
bars.
What
about
 you?
If
you
do,
you’ll
probably
want
to
sign
up
for
gymnastic
lessons
cause
then
 you’ll
actually
know
how
to
do
it
properly
like
I
do.
Here
are
some
instructions
 about
how
to
use
the
equipment
properly:
 The
mats
are
either
used
for
jumping,
landing
or
falling
on.
The
vaults
are
for
 jumping
or
kicking
off
of.
The
trampolines
are
for
jumping
on.
The
parallel
bars
are
 used
to
flip
and
swing
on.
You
also
need
chalk
on
you’re
hands
to
do
it.
The
balance
 beam
is
used
for
practicing
balance
and
doing
hard
tricks
on.
It
is
very
fun.
I’m
sort
 of
still
a
beginner
so
I’ve
mostly
just
practiced
dipping
and
jumping
and
stuff
pretty
 easy,
especially
for
me.
Well,
I
hope
you’ve
enjoyed
this
chapter
and
enjoy
the
 others!

These
Things
Are
Hot!

Do
you
like
fancy
stuff?
Well
I
do,
even
though
tights
and
gymnastic
suits
aren’t
very
 fancy.
Some
of
the
suits
and
tights
and
stuff
are
hot.
Some
just
feel
good.
I
for
one,
 think
most
of
them
feel
very
good
even
if
they’re
actually
hot.
Do
you?
Anyways,
I

like
the
clothing
they
wear.
(Oh,
and
they
also
wear
Wristbands.
The
Wristbands
feel
 good)
Well,
anyways,
you
better
not
wear
clothes
that
are
hot
because
even
if
they
 feel
good,
they’ll
be
hot
so
beware.

Wow!
Amazing!

Do
you
want
to
learn
the
different
moves
in
gymnastics?
Okay,
 than
here
they
are:
back
flips,
forward
flips,
summer
salts,
 cartwheels,
hand
stands,
backward
summer
salts
and
probably
a
 bit
more.
Anyways,
those
are
some
of
the
different
movements.
I
 like
cartwheels
and
handstands.
Do
you?
Did
you
know
that
this
 stuff
can
actually
be
used
for
fighting
too?
Well
if
you
didn’t,
I
 just
told
you.

Practice
Makes
Perfect!

 If
you
want
to
do
something
like
gymnastics,
you
have
to
practice.
To
practice
for
 gymnastics
you
have
to
do
these
things:
Focus,
never
give
up,
listen
to
instructions,
 do
stretches,
warm
up,
do
the
splits
and
of
course,
practice.
It’s
hard
and
fun
to
 practice.
What
ever
you
do,
keep
practicing.
You
know
what
they
say,
“Practice
 Makes
Perfect!”

Yes!
I
Win!

 “Come
on!
Go!
Beat
her!
Beat
her!
Oh,
hi!
Sorry,
just
watching
the
gymnastics
 Olympics
on
TV.”
They
have
to
focus
real
hard,
they
do.
“Right
now
they’re
doing
 some
competitions.
I
love
watching
them.
You
should
watch
it
at
home
more
often,
 at
least
if
you
don’t
watch
it
as
much
as
you
can
already.
Well,
I
hope
you’ve
enjoyed
 this
book.
Practice
at
home
if
you
can!
Goodbye!
