Kingston & st. andrew Tours
Welcome to Kingston, surrounded by its bustling harbour and the parish of St. Andrew. Since 1872, Kingston has been Jamaica’s capital city. Located on Jamaica’s southeastern coast, Kingston is a remarkable metropolis of commerce, development, and ethnic diversity. Kingston was founded following the destruction of Jamaica’s then capital, Port Royal, by a massive earthquake in 1692. In subsequent years, Kingston Harbour would serve as both trading hub and naval base, while most of the surrounding area was used for agricultural purposes. In 1872, the government relocated all government offices from the then capital Spanish Town to Kingston. This action, in effect, made Kingston the new capital city. Today, Kingston is a thriving city full of modern and historical sites. We are honoured to give you a glimpse into this city’s great past and bright future.
Experience the Kingston Capital City Tour, featuring Devon House and the Bob Marley Museum. Stop in for some fine dining at Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records. Invigorate the senses with our Ultimate Coffee Tour, and take the scenic ride of a lifetime on our Blue Mountain Bicycle Tour.

Port Antonio
Port antonio Tours
Perhaps the most visually stunning port in the world, Port Antonio has captivated many visitors over the years. This town of lush vegetation, dazzling scenery, twin harbours and cool hills is located on Jamaica’s northeastern coast. Virtually untouched by tourism, Port Antonio offers old-world comfort and undeniable charm. Originally occupied by the Spaniards in the 16th century, the area was later settled and expanded by the British. Port Antonio gained worldwide recognition after becoming the world’s leading producer of bananas during the late 1800s to the early 1900s. The banana boat became the preferred transport method of bananas from plantation to port. When banana sales declined and tourism increased, the vacant banana boats were used for river tours, which is still practiced today.
Revel in the Port Antonio Experience! Visit the historic Frenchman’s Cove, where it is said the defeated French hid from the British. Enjoy relaxing rafting down the Rio Grande on an authentic bamboo raft.

uminous Lagoon is a wondrous place located in the marshlands west of Falmouth. At night, the waters of this lagoon emit a mystifying glow. What causes this remarkable phenomenon? The answer is millions of microscopic creatures called dinoflagellates, which, when disturbed, produce a glow which illuminates everything in the surrounding water, including passing fish. Boat tours are offered nightly from Glistening Waters Marina. During this 45 minute tour,

Historic Falmouth
Cockpit Country Caves
L
ocated 2,000 feet above sea level in one of Jamaica’s last remaining, virtually untouched areas, the Cockpit Caves are one of Jamaica’s most remarkable natural attractions. Riddled with steep hollows, some as deep as 400 feet, the terrain here is among the most difficult to navigate on the island. It is for this very reason that the area was a stronghold for the Maroon people against Spanish and British colonialists. Tourists visiting the Cockpit Country Caves are outfitted with helmets and headlamps for a variety of adventures like hiking, spelunking, and other outdoor activities.
S
ituated in the town of Falmouth within the Parish of Trelawny is the Falmouth Historic District, showcasing Jamaica’s rich architectural heritage. Declared a Protected National Heritage Site in 1985 and a National Monument in 1996 by the government of Jamaica, this astounding area contains the largest undamaged assortment of British Colonial architecture found anywhere in the Caribbean. These historic structures were built in the late 1700s-early 1800s following the British establishment of Falmouth. Some interesting sites to note are the Falmouth Court House, St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Fort Balcarres, and the Water Square. Always inform your JTL tour guide or driver before leaving your tour group.

L
ocated 2,000 feet above sea level in one of Jamaica’s last remaining, virtually untouched areas, the Cockpit Caves are one of Jamaica’s most remarkable natural attractions.

St. James Tours
Situated in Jamaica’s northwestern coastal region is St. James, a parish rich in history and industry. Its capital, Montego Bay, received its name from the Spanish word manteca, or lard, for which many native wild hogs met their demise. St. James was a sparsely populated and economically poor parish until the mid 18th century, when sugar planters developed the area, importing huge populations of African slaves to serve as their labour force. As a result, St. James quickly became one of the most prosperous parishes on the island. One of Jamaica’s esteemed National Heroes, Samuel Sharpe was born a slave in St. James in 1801. In 1831-32, Sharpe led what was to be Jamaica’s final slave uprising, the Christmas Rebellion. As a result, Sharpe and over 300 fellow slaves were hanged at the site now known as Samuel Sharpe Square in Montego Bay.
Be mystified at the Rose Hall Great House, view vintage antiques at the Greenwood Great House, sample freshly picked pineapples at the Croydon Plantation, tee off at Cinnamon Hill, White Witch, and Half Moon Golf Courses, enjoy our Shopping Tour, hook a big fish with Ocean Express Deep Sea Fishing, learn Jamaican history on a John’s Hall Adventure Tour, add thrill to your vacation with Chukka Adventure Tours, trek through thick woodlands on the Irwin Village Tour, and snorkel in sparkling seas on a Dreamer Catamaran.

Over time, they have nurtured a genuine love for the island which has been passed down through subsequent generations and various acts of philanthropy.

westmoreland
Westmoreland Tours
Aptly named for its extreme western location, Westmoreland is Jamaica’s eighth largest parish. Although the Spanish were the first to settle in the area, the English gained control of Jamaica in 1655, ushering in sugar production and widespread slavery. After slavery was abolished in 1834, a variety of ethnic groups were introduced, such as East Indians, Germans and Chinese, to supplement the labour shortage. Westmoreland’s capital is Savanna-la-Mar, which means “plain by the sea”. The town, which literally ends by the sea, has witnessed many natural disasters, most notably in 1748, 1780, and 1912. Regardless of the magnitude of these catastrophes, the townspeople of Savanna-la-Mar’s undeterred resilience has led to its rebuilding each time. Negril is Westmoreland’s westernmost town. Featuring picturesque cliffs and miles of pristine beach, Negril is among Jamaica’s top three tourist destinations.
Soak up some sun on the Negril Beach & Sunset Tour, purchase great souvenirs on our Shopping Tour, take an ATV Tour at Jamwest Adventure Park, go for a sail on a Dreamer Catamaran, and enjoy the party on a Paxton Cruise.
