Rascal Ltd Pack Co are handmade goods for the rascals that like to head out on an adventure, carrying all their necessities with them. Created from up-cycled fabrics, these packs are one to stand out from the rest. With the re-using of found fabric, these packs are limited and are each of their own. No one is going to have the exact same pack as you. You will be able to be your own rascal.

INITIAL SKETCHES

Early sketches of the Rascal Logo. There are heaps of sketches and a huge illustrator file filled with many logo ideas. In the end, these two were the ones that were screaming out to me.

Quick templates for the packs and Rascal was born! First there was the backpacks, then came the wallet pouches and finally the tote pack.

Each pack is tightly rolled up or folded in order for it to fit into the parcel. They are then wrapped up in brown paper, tied shut with some string then given the official “Stamp of Appreciation�. Sent through Australian Post.

Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44. Men are four times more likely to die by suicide than women and ABS data (2012) shows more people die from suicide than road deaths. Majority of the victims don’t want to die they just want their pain to end. Everyone has a role to play in preventing suicide. Choices we make today can help prevent suicide. With each pack sold, Rascal takes the money to Lifeline and then purchases more materials. The money then goes towards the Lifeline Crisis Centers.

Rascal Ltd Pack Co and Lifeline have joined forces to bring you limited edition tote packs and pouches. Each pack is created from bought materials from Lifeline Op Shops, which is then hand sewn together to create exclusive packs. With the use of bright colours and funky patterns, Rascal aims to help create raise funds and promote awareness of suicides in Australia.

This poster is to create an awareness of depression and suicide by showcasing the topic of Having Fun. With a select few individuals who encounter some form of depression on a daily basis, Rascal aims to help push those bad vibes away and embrace colour and patterns through these limited edition packs.
