What we do Incoming Global Community Development Projects This program provides students from all over the world with internship opportunities in Lebanon for a minimum duration of 6 - 8 weeks, where they volunteer in community developmental projects that tackle different social issues. In Lebanon, the issues addressed are in the following fields: Education The projects mainly address the idea of breaking free from a textbook oriented educational system and provide pupils with the extracurricular issues that the schools do not normally address. The project’s aim is to develop the students, build their characters and prepare them with the tools to face the life challenges and issues. The project provides a platform for young people across the world to connect with schools and organizations that share the common vision through our International Community Development Program.
Marketing & Social Development The projects mainly address different social issues, by which young people across the world volunteer with organizations that address a certain issue. The purpose of this project is not only for the young people to work on the social issues, but also to enable them to help organizations run their operations better, through project management, marketing, fundraising, social media engagement etc…

Examples of Projects in Lebanon
The aim of this project is to engage students of private schools from all age groups in extracurricular activities that would enhance their personal skills and prepare them for the world outside school. 30 interns from dierent countries (mainly from the MENA Region) will come to Lebanon for a period of 6 weeks to work on this project. The project will be divided into 2 phases. During the first phase, comprised of 2 weeks, interns will be given training sessions by professionals to help them prepare their workshops and plan the content of the presentations which they will conduct later on to the students. During the second phase, comprised of 4 weeks, the interns will apply what they have prepared in the training phase to give sessions to dierent age groups at schools. The project ends with a one-day event that showcases the outcome of the project to the dierent partners and the parents of students.
The purpose behind this project is to have a royal impact on our society at least in the agricultural and environmental level, and to do so, international interns, that are in contact with AIESEC, will be welcomed to Shouf for a period of 6 weeks to work on this project by preparing presentations to lecture in schools, researching and creating fun activities to engage children in the environmental issues. What we do
One of the best ways to develop what it takes to be a socially responsible leader is to take up one of the 20,000 leadership roles involved in running AIESEC, at local, national, regional and global scale, as well as take part in trainings on so# skills and functional areas in hundreds conferences and hundreds of activities each year. Our world today is all about competitiveness in a weakened job market, the third industrial revolution in a digital and fast-changing era and an increased interest and scrutiny towards social issues. As AIESECers we understand that and we believe these are the perfect times to live in! We step-up to the challenges and shape our future by looking at the world as our playground. By participating in this programme, the students will: • Contribute to a positive impact in your community and ultimately the society you live in
•
Gain leadership and management skills by taking responsibility over projects and leading teams
•
Interact with international interns with varying perspectives and cultural backgrounds
•
Gain a global network of students and recent graduates across more than 124 countries.
