IV. SOL Are you curious about other LCs? Do you want to steal their secrets and make AIESEC Cluj-Napoca even more awesome? â˜ş Then SOL is the perfect thing for you! SOL implies visiting another LC for a short period (2-3 days up to one week) and taking part in their activities. As a SOL you participate in the meetings and events organized by the particular department that you’re interested in (e.g. Finance - grants). Steps in order to go on SOLs: 1.
2.
Consult the LC VP of the department which you want to find out more about (maybe he/ she can suggest a LC which is proficient in that department) OR Choose the LC yourself. Decide on the period of time & on what you want to learn.
11
3. Talk to the TM who will connect you to the LC of your choice. 4. Discuss the period of your visit and other details about your stay there with the LC before your departure. 5. Make sure you have accommodation (it’s possible that we arrange this with local AIESECers, if you are not visiting your home town, that is ☺). 6. You’re off! 7. Return to us and share your gained wisdom!
Why go on a SOL? • you learn about the area of your interest (ERX, ICX, OGX, Comm, TM, Finance, Projects) • you see how the LC does a certain activity/ event • you enjoy the atmosphere of the LC • you visit the city of the LC • you build your own national network • you make new friends & have fun Contact: Roxana Berche roxanaberche@gmail.com 0743 566237 12
