CULTURE & TRAVEL There’s no place quite like Taiwan. The Taiwanese are a warm, hospitable group of people who never fail to be courteous and helpful. SOCIETY In term of education, Taiwan has similar path with Malaysia education system ( 6 years primary school, 3 years + 3 years higher education, Followed by university or college ). ABOUT TAIWAN SOCIETY Like many other countries. Taiwan still has its own environmental issue due to the rapid speed of industrialization in the country. Among the most visible effects of a human footprint is the massive reduction of Taiwan’s natural forest cover. However, Taiwan is also known for having the world’s most efficient recycling system with an impressive recycling rate of 55%.

Taiwanese aborigines who number more than 530,000 and constitute nearly 2.3% of the island's population government policies designed to foster language shift and cultural assimilation, as well as continued contact with the colonisers through trade, intermarriage and other intercultural processes, have resulted in varying degrees of language death and loss of original cultural identity.
