Now, the question is: Are you ready to live the best amazing, fantastic, extraordinary and challenging experience of your lives and also the fabulous year in AIESEC Javeriana´s life? Welcome to the process. I wish you the best in it. I'm waiting to have you in our Director Penguin Force. Let´s go to break our bubble and drive our unstoppable growth by extraordinary experiences!
“If you can do it, you can thrive it”
Dear Penguins “Penguins Raise things UP!” It’s been six months since I entered the committee, and since then I have lived experiences I never thought I would, experiences that made me grow, both on the personal and professional scopes. All this, shows me I’m on the right place - I am where I’m supposed to be. When I started, I tried really hard to accomplish and complete all the tasks that were assigned to me; I tried my hardest to demonstrate I was the right person for the job; I saw all my efforts were being noticed and answered by AIESEC through the new challenges to face and the new opportunities to take. I continued working my hardest and ended up where I am today, happier than ever. AIESEC promises us Fulfillment of Humankind's Potential, and gives us all the tools and opportunities to achieve it, but it is up to us to take these and make the best out of them, not only for us but for the society in need of young people ready to work the way to change. From what has been said before I want to distinguish two invitations for all the membership: first, do everything on the best way you can, put every part of you into what you are doing so you can get as far as it is possible in the road to success. The energy you put into what you are doing will bring nothing different than excellent results. Do not dismiss opportunities, most times these will only present once in a lifetime and you will surely regret thinking on what could have been. My second advice for you is to face the challenges that, on a particular way, AIESEC presents to you. Go ahead and make a difference - do things different - you can get different, unique and awesome results! To conclude, I want to congratulate those of you who are accepting the opportunity of being directors, those who are facing the challenge, that want to give more than 100%, those who have nothing but the best to give, not only for personal growth but to achieve positive changes for a society in need.
Don't forget, if you want real change, walk different.
