FROM THE MC OFFICE AIESEC Norway recruited amazing new members, elected LCPs for the term 11-12 and started to work on exchange goal achievement.

March is the month for raisings. Lets change some more lives!

———————————— Elle is finally back from Global Leaders Summit in Hungary and is excited to come back to OGX. Beata was working on the agenda and promotion of Global Talent seminar and now also continue working on matching of TN with RUBRIKK and following up pipeline for raisings.

Meda have finally set up the new accounting system and is working on the transition plan and education materials for next MC and LCs teams.

Stava had the great opportunity to go to Bergen and Trondheim to meet the new members and had good and useful trainings Didi developed with the help of the MC team and LCPs transition at MC level and LC level. Stay turned for more updates in the next newsletter.

Dasha is working on OGX promotion campaigns and on the agenda for ACHIEVE. Andreas is excited to be back to Norway after Global Leaders Summit and cant wait to reconnect with all the extraordinary things that we are going to achieve in the next months.

PROJECT UPDATES GCDP ICX The projects in UiO and Trondheim are now successfully delivered and finished and both LCs deserve recognition for their hard work and delivering the projects which has been a great success in both cities!

New and old members are now starting to work on the projects in AIESEC Trondheim and UiO; calling for sponsorships and defining the project and how it will be conducted.

Global Volunteer (internship sales) In UiB and UiO the project is also running smoothly an the members are working hard to sell internships to NGOs.

GIP ICX In GIP ICX we have raised 1 TN in February with Global Partner- Alcatel Lucent, profile within finance.

We have also realized 1 TN with our new partner, Digia. Anca from Romania has started her traineeship as a Marketing Professional.

All the LCs are a part of the sales competition that we started in February. It will last for one month from 20 Feb-18 Mar. So far UiO is leading with 10 points and NHH is on the second position with 3 points. There are still 2 weeks left of the campaign and everything possible. Who is going to win the competition??

OGX OGX promotion is happening in all the projects. Currently we have on National Level: 37 applications for Your Impact, Africa and Asia, 39 applications for GIP: Go Business – 23 and 16 applications for Go Teach. UiO signed 7 contracts for YiAA, and already matched 2 of them. Both UiO and NHH have raised current LC members who will go on exchange during the summer.

ACHIEVE , National Conference The organizational committee in UiO have now started to work in order to deliver the best conference in AIESEC Norway this term! 75 members have now signed up.

RECOGNITION FROM THE COUNTRY Cecilia Lillthors and Ingrid Ervik Asbjørnsen for driving OGX GIP in AIESEC NHH. AIESEC UiO for 7 EPs raised 2 EPs matched for the summer peak.

EB elections EB elections are here! With pride and excitement we are watching a new generation of AIESEC leaders stepping forward and taking the responsibility of growing AIESEC Norway even further. Here is the current timeline of the elections: AIESEC NHH - The selection deadline passed and we have the following brave candidates: Kathrine: VPICX Frøya: VPICX Erling: VPF Caroline: VP COMM nd IR All of them got the vote of confidence from the LC on the 29th and now they are waiting to have interviews with the LCPs AIESEC Trondheim opened applications on the 27th of february and the deadline for application is on the 5th of March. After this, they will have the interviews with the candidates that got the vote of confidence (7th of March) and they will announce the new EB on the 12th of March

AIESEC UiO - the selection deadline passed and we have the following brave candidates that received the vote of confidence Aisha: (for VP OGX), Waqas: (for VPF).

Next steps for them: interviews with the LCP elect and current

AIESEC BI is planning to have the elections in the beginning of April, so we are waiting for exciting news from them in the next newsletter.

AIESEC UiB will have their LCP applications opened on the 3rd of March and a newly elected LCP on the 12th of March. The EB selection will start with the applications on the 1st of April and the application deadline on the 8th of April.

Excitement in the air as the new teams are being selected. The MC team is very curious and eager to see who will lead AIESEC Norway in the next year....

READY.SET.GO! Focuses Goal : All LCs to have a full and prepared EB elects for the next term.

What is happening at the moment:  LCPs are elected and now LCs are working on EB election.  The MC and LCs are working with creating the transition plan to ensure that we keep the knowledge and learning's within the organization and to make us stronger and more prepared for next term.

Goal : To have minimum 5 members excluding the EB elect in the LC for the whole of next term.

What is happening at the moment:  All LCs have done membership recruitment and induction of new members.  MC is working hard together with AIESEC UiO arranging ACHIEVE where all members and leaders of AIESEC Norway will participate

Goal : All LCs to have minimum 5 months of secured income or reserves for for the next term.

What is happening at the moment:  LCs are gathering updates about their financial statuses in order to ensure financial sustainability of organization.

Goal : All LCs to reach 100 percent of the new exchange goals.

What is happening at the moment:  All the LCs started to work toward their goals!

Goal : Aligned leadership body.

What is happening at the moment:  MC and LCPs are soon the have their first meeting as a leadership body of AIESEC Norway.

NEWS FROM THE GLOBAL NETWORK AIESEC Norway received a global award for showcasing high contribution of EPs and TNs in cooperation with Africa within Western Europe and North America.
