TABLE OF CONTENTS SHEET
SUMMARY The ELD Trend is where one can see the annual growth and decline of members, leaders and exchanges, per quarter, since the year 2008 till present.
I. ELD Trend
By understanding this, one will be able to see the dynamics between the number of members and leaders to the number of exchanges, as well as, the percentage growth from one term to another. This is important because it shows the viewer the peak and the decline of the number of exchanges per quarter, which equips him or her with the advantageous foresight to prepare beforehand. The Pool Statistics sheet consists of the pool distribution of TN and EP Realizations for GIP and GCDP, per year, since 2010, as well as, a table with the duration of traineeships that the trainees avail of or that the TNs usually set.
II. Pool Statistics
By knowing this, one is able to keep track of the ratio between the GCDP and the GIP realizations. This also shows which duration of work the EPs often choose or the TNs set. However, one must take into consideration that majority of the exchanges are for GCDP, hence its reflection on the greatest number of exchanges under the 1.4-1.9 month duration. This is important because it gives one a realistic view or expectation on the possibility of acquiring GIPs in comparison to GCDPs. Listed here are the supply of EPs’ top 20 fields of expertise and the bottom 20.
III. EP Supply
By following supply, TN Raisers will be guided as to what types of companies or organizations to tap and to avoid. This also aids the Matchers in looking for possible EPs by allowing them to specifically target or contact countries with the majority of the supply of the type of EP that the TN is looking for. Knowledge of this is important because it allows for greater maximization of time and effort.
IV. EP Demand
Listed here are the TNs’ top 20 demands of specializations of EPs and the bottom 20. This gives one an idea of what types of industries are active, in terms of acquiring trainees, and so may act as a guide to TN Raisers who are conducting market research.
This sheet breaks down the over supply of EPs and TNs according to function, background, duration of traineeship, MC with the over supply, and the specific number of over supplied EPs and TNs. V. Over Supply
By seeing this dissection, both TN Raisers and Matchers can capitalize on this by utilizing this information in product packaging, market segmentation and partnership creation. This is important because one is able to see where, specifically, an EP can be chosen, according to his or her background or function and the duration of the desired traineeship. In this sheet, one can see the common sectors where exchange occurs. These have been arranged and color-coded to show a clear delineation amongst the top 5 sectors, the top 5 “okay na” sectors, and the bottom 5 sectors.
VI. Exchange by Sectors
This is helpful for TN Raisers, for it shows which sectors consistently avail of EPs throughout the years. It gives a macro view of the industry’s demand for EPs; thus, it can be utilized to initiate market segmentation. Knowing this gives one a good sense of direction as to which sectors to veer to in the next term. We’re all generally competitive people, so what better way to motivate ourselves than to see the results of our main competitors, the cream of the crop. In this sheet, the top performing countries, in terms of exchanges per quarter, are listed.
VII. Top Country Exchanges
By keeping track of this, we can constantly check ourselves to see whether or not we are performing and meeting international standards. With this knowledge, we can compare our performances and strategies with the leading countries and, perhaps, adjust accordingly. This is important because it’ll act as our baseline for our overall performance as Business Development.
