The Startup Unicorns Project The Startup Unicorns Project (SUP) is the biggest Global Entrepreneurship project in the AIESEC network , initiated by AIESEC AUC in 2016. SUP is composed of certified, paid, 8 weeks, professional internships in different business and technical fields for internationals in Egypt's top startups, small and medium enterprises.
Our Why We have a common belief in the power that startups have in changing the world. Not just the few ''startup unicorns'' we read about in the headlines because their valuation happened to skyrocket and hit the $1 billion, No, we're talking about the millions of startups that, in the right environment; can change to unicorns of their own.
Our How AIESEC AUC partnered exclusively with the top startups, SMEs and incubators in Egypt and structured SUP’s internships that empower both: A) Startups
through providing them with international qualified talents.
B) Interns through providing them with a challenging professional environment that strengthens their entrepreneurial muscle.
SUP Impact in 2016 200 + Partner Organizations
42+ Nationalities Participated

What Our 2016 SUP Interns Are Saying “I am developing myself” “Amazing Environment” “Being in an environment where others actively take an interest in your development is an incredibly empowering and powerful feeling. This is what working at MO4 is like, where everyone I've met quickly made me feel at home and push challenge me to become a better designer than I was before. Being in such a stimulating environment with people who care for each other is absolutely magical, and I'm sure by the end of this I'll be ready to take on the world. Even the smallest of us can change the course of the future.
Ali Abbas AIESEC in Lebanon Trainee MO4 Networks
“I've never thought for a second that this internship will be like this! A huge experience, full of new people in my life and friends that I will never forget. People I met here changed every plan I've ever had before. During the two months in Egypt, I've said “it's the first time I've tried this” almost everyday. My co-workers are the best people I've ever met. I've experienced the feeling of 100% responsibility. I will never forget the feeling of Arabism that I felt in the desert under the moon while riding a fast horse, Dahab, such a nice place but heaven with someone you love, certainly we will go back there. And then again; my life changed forever. Mohammed Tilili AIESEC in TunisiaTrainee UACT, AUC
“I am ready for the world” " I learned through my internship that youth in the so-called ‘developing countries’ are immensely hungry for knowledge and passionate in forging a bright future for their country. All what they need is the right environment and the opportunities. This internship opened up a whole new part of the world to me, and through it, taught me more about myself, my competencies, and my own culture than I’d ever imagined.’’
Daniel Hegman AIESEC in Canada Trainee Egyliere
