Present in 126 countries and territories with over 80,000 members - AIESEC is the world's’ largest student-run organization. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, change the world and garner the experience and skills that matter today. Students involved in AIESEC have gained skills and competencies through challenging leadership experiences, international internships, and interaction with an extensive global network.

Developing Canadian Leaders since 1958 AIESEC Canada has 60 years of experience in developing high-potential youth into globally-minded responsible leaders through partnerships with business, government, and institutions of higher education. While Canadian students abroad grow through their international experiences, local members drive operations and develop cross-cultural sensitivity, and a variety of transferable skills that they can bring to their future workplaces.

Bringing Business & Youth Together Since 2012, The Canada Youth to Business Forum has brought businesses, organizations, government and students together to engage in a unique dialogue on relevant topics to both Canadian businesses and student communities. At the end of the day AIESEC Canada brings together key stakeholders within the Canadian community and bridge the gap between youth and business, driving Canada forward by exploring different perspectives, sharing ideas, and building a better future together.

Youth to Business Theme: 60 Years of Leadership Since its inception in 1958, AIESEC and its partners have been working towards developing leadership in young Canadians through practical experiences. 2018 marked a special year where delegates and partners of the Youth to Business Forum used learnings and current trends to prepare Canadians for a fast-changing world and continually adapt to current leadership needs. Key areas of development and opportunity lie within the following topics: 1.

Capacity Building: Youth need to develop and strengthen their skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources to adapt the the leadership needs of today. At the individual level, when youth invest in their own unique skills and abilities, they are able to drive change and impact in their communities and causes that they care about.

2.

Global Connectivity: Youth have the opportunity to play a strong role in driving a more globally connected Canada, leading to strategic global alliances, activities and investments. Youth need to be proactive in exploring how experiences they have today can allow themselves and Canada to become more globally competitive in the future.

3.

Diversity in Leadership: Diversity in perspectives and the participation of youth in making key decisions has shown to add value for society in both public and private sectors. Youth will explore examples of how diversity has enriched the decision-making table, in addition to lending their own voices to important topics and hearing the perspectives of other youth leaders.
