Dear AIESEC in Denmark, Are you ready to re-live the month of March? We have some lovely remembrance of the month that passed especially for you! We are very glad to see most of you at Fortius. We have seen a lot of promising new members, old members that already bloomed, and amazing team leaders and EBs. That gives us a lot of inspiration to drive this organization forward knowing that we are shaping the leaders our world needs. The MC is back from the Easter holidays and super excited to continue the Exchange Peak! Remember that April is for maintaining our oGIP customers as they will soon move into the Matching stage and increasing our Sales intensity for iGIP! Can we make it happen? Of course we can! So keep on pushing, we are going to get where we want to be! Belated Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. We hope you enjoyed painting Easter eggs ď Š
Hugs from Copenhagen,
Your MC COOL
This year, Day 1 of Fortius conference has been innovated to showcase how AIESEC is a channel that connects many stakeholders with young global leaders of our time, and vice versa. Youth to Business Forum’s theme “Technology Reinventing Business” highlights how institutions are being transformed by technology nowadays. We had speakers from different industry sectors including the Danish government (Ministry of Education). Y2B activity report will be published next month. There you will know more about the outcome of the forum in detail. Wait for it!
Fortius 2015 is the first of its kind. In this 3-day conference held last March 20-22, 2015, we are able to showcase AIESEC’s relevance to our society, and how what we do should be shaped around what the world needs. AIESEC DK’s 2nd Youth to Business Forum opened Fortius 2015, serving as Day 1 of the conference. The remaining two days were the conference proper. We had the current MCP of AIESEC in UK, Reuben Ayley, as Chair. He had a very powerful message about the “formula to success” which is Collaboration + Dream + Innovation + Action-Orientation = Success. In AIESEC, it can’t be more true. During Fortius, we were called to act on the dreaming process of AIESEC in Denmark 2020 which was only possible through the national plenary’s inputs. In Day 3, the MC 1415 and MC 1516 (It was a welcome conference for them!) provided the delegates with functional knowledge to push our performance in the next 90 days! Now the challenge for you is how Action-Oriented will you be in the next 90 days to end term 14/15 (and start term 15/16) with a bang? That’s all up to you!

You can say that Fortius was really action-packed with Y2B on Day 1 and multiple functional sessions in Day 3. Day 2’s big event, and one of the biggest highlight of the conference, is the dreaming process of how might we, as AIESEC in Denmark, move forward in the next 5 years. The Road to 2020 was a facilitated process creation by the national OD team, Fiete and Ena, with input from the Board of Directors, on what we as an organization want to contribute to the betterment of the Danish society. You were dared to think of what frustrates you in our society, what solutions can you think of, and what is AIESEC’s role in making a change. You might be wondering what happened to those brilliant ideas of yours?
View the initial consolidated report of DK 2020 VISION here! Please note that this will undergo external validation first, and strategic analysis, for us to come up with the final vision. We should all be proud of what we have achieved as the first step into creating the biggest dream AIESEC in Denmark is about to make!
*These events will be participated by Executive Board members from your entities! **This is something we all need to work for!!!
