Introduction
Story collection is very important, we all know that now. In this report, we’ll get to see how our LCs are using the guidelines we shared with them previously, to collect Leadership Stories in different formats (articles, pictures and videos). We’ll also see how different is each EP’s response to our request for a testimonial or any sort of material. What we should be asking ourselves, then, is: how are we supposed to use those materials in our marketing campaigns?

Mostapha’s Leadership Story in Turkey
Bratislava in my heart My name is Omar Bouziane Errahmani and I had the privilege of participating in an internship abroad with AIESEC in Slovakia.
I m from a small town called El Attaf, and my biggest dream was to experience something different, something that could impact me and my community. That is when I discovered AIESEC. Beyond the skills and knowledge I gained from participating in this internship and the positive impact it had on me, AIESEC gave me the opportunity to be a real World Citizen and establish strong relationships with people from Indonesia, Taiwan, Georgia and Kazakhstan. I loved spending time with AIESECers from Slovakia and all the other interns who, just like me, were full of energy and passion. I gained an invaluable skill called LEADERSHIP.
Magical kindergarten! I had to deliver funny and interactive classes to children.
I also Learned how to do my job!
Global village Where I had the chance to represent Algeria and it’s culture.
My Indian Adventure
I’m a Global Citizen Now
I chose to be a Global Volunteer and go to Turkey, for a project organized by AIESEC in Adana. We worked with AGSEK club in a special swimming pool for disabled children. Our job was to help them and teach them how to swim and enjoy their time. In the afternoon and evenings we organized competitions and games for children in order to help them integrate with society. I learned a lot of things during the whole project. If I should summarize my 6 weeks in one sentence I would just say: After my Global Volunteer experience, my life is not the same!
Trainees Testimonial Example Some people might think that Story Collection is only about our OGX EPs, especially that the focus product of AIESEC in Algeria is oGV. But this doesn’t mean at all that we shouldn’t do the same with our trainees, to promote our iGV opportunities, a very promising product for us, when we see the great potential this entity has to grow in it.
In order to strengthen our national brand “Salam Algeria”, a lot of effort should be done to collect, in a professional and attractive way, the leadership stories of those young people who choose to volunteer in Algeria.
Let’s see an example from one of LC Benak’s trainees!
A Korean Girl in Algeria I’m Sooah Cho from South Korea. I participated in Summer Sunshine School, as a Korean teacher. Let me tell you how I improved my life in this North African country. First of all, Algeria is not that familiar to Koreans. There is nothing common between both countries except a soccer game. I had a little fear of visiting there, however, the first impression totally swept off my concern. When I arrived in the airport, AIESEC Benak members came to pick me up with my host, they never neglected me since then. hosts are open-minded to strangers and they know how to make a person feel comfortable. In my Korean class, I was so impressed that some students are already good enough to have a simple conversation in Korean. When there was no class, I used to hang out with AIESEC members. They showed me the diversity of Algeria. Unless you visit here, you can’t imagine how diverse Algeria is. They posses their original cultures like Kabyle (Berber), Arabic and Islamic cultures. Furthermore, there are French, Roman and Ottoman ruins. Moreover they have Mediterranean sea in the North and Sahara desert in the South. Those journey with friends from different countries made me realize that I was but a fish in a little pond. I could break up my prejudice and narrow-mindedness. I wrote so many things to recommend you to join AIESEC Algeria’s projects. But I can summarize everything in one sentence: If you want to change the rest of your life, Come and Join and Feel Algeria!
