About Global Volunteer Scholarship Global Volunteer is a social project hosted by an AIESEC entity together with a non-AIESEC organization such as an NGO or school in another country or territory. A Global Volunteer project lasts between 6-12 weeks. With Global Volunteer, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to participate in international internships, experience leadership and partake in a global learning environment, thus create the international platform for every young member of the world to develop their potential.
Benefits You will provide its expertise and act as a sponsor of students, to go abroad through AIESEC’s Global Volunteer Program to:
AIESEC coordinates the recruiting process for the participants of the program and provides its HR capacity to operate the project. We are also in charge of the participant and their outer journey during their time abroad.
• Get high potential candidates for future career opportunities and internships • Be known as the partner of AIESEC on every university, who supports students on the advertised issues • Get marketing material and an impact report for future employer branding activities and to expand the reach (545,800+ young people reached through our combined marketing activities) • Help to create impact on specific issues prioritized by your organization’s CSR strategy • Target students in their earlier semesters of university in priority locations (8 on-campus AIESEC offices across Belgium) • Get access to AIESEC’s talent pool for the Global Volunteer program (1300+ sign ups from July 2016 to Feb 2017) • Have a debriefing event to learn more of the participants experience and collect contact information for future recruitment
Talent Pool & Recruitment You decide upon your target group that AIESEC will recruit for you. Target groups can be Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Finance or HR backgrounds. Through our combined marketing efforts both from our national and local committees social media channels, we reached a total of 545,810 young people. We had more than 1,200 young people signing up on our Youth Opportunity portal for internship opportunities abroad.

The priority issues for the theme will be defined along with the preferred countries where the participants will go on exchange. Furthermore the agreement on the communication plan before and after the experience and the marketing materials design will be set.
AIESEC runs a recruitment campaign in 12+ locations in Belgium for candidates with a profile fitting to the needed profile in university recruits. AIESEC will do a pre-selection for you and you make the final choice on who you want to support. After the final selection AIESEC prepares the candidates for the event abroad then the communication with the candidates can start.
The selected candidates go on exchange abroad and contribute to the prioritized issues. Company stays in contact with the participant for employer branding material and to build a relation to the participant. AIESEC will stay in contact to ensure the quality of the exchange.
The exchange participants return to Belgium and are added to the alumni database, which can be accessed for future recruitment rounds for internships and other positions. The applicants will be invited to an event to share their experiences. The reports and pictures of the participants are then ready for usage of internal and external promotion activities of both participating parties.* * Individual design of further activities with applicants possible
