Logistical Preparation 1. Electricity in Indonesia is 230 volts, alternating 50 cycles per second. You can buy the universal adaptor at any supermarket or hardware store in Bandung when you arrive here for about $1. If you travel to Indonesia with a device that doesn't accept 230 volts at 50 hertz, you'll need a voltage converter.

Logistical Preparation 2. Outfits. In general, people in Indonesia wear clothes that are similar to western style. Men wears suite when they go to work. In daily life, mostly men wears t-shirt and jeans. And for Woman, it's almost the same. But you couldn't find Bikini, except at the beach

Logistical Preparation 3. Personal Medicine. We suggest you to bring your own medicine in case you have an allergy or specific illness. And also we recommend you to have an insurance during your stay in Indonesia. Mostly our interns have a problem with stomachache and usually it caused by Indonesian spicy food.

Logistical Preparation 4.1 Gadget. You can bring your own laptop, iPod, iPhone, BlackBerry or the other phone. We can't guarantee you will get free Internet Access during your time here. Probably you have to spend for 20 EUR($27) per month for the internet access and the registration cost in the beginning for 30 EUR ($40). You can bring your standard phone basicly to connected with people here.

Logistical Preparation 4. 2 Indonesian Number. Here we suggest you to buy “Indonesian number� at Soekarno Hatta airport. Than you can directly contact your OCP, OC Exchange and ICX member. So before you going to Indonesia, you better save the number from your project. When you arrive at Jakarta International airport (Soekarno Hatta), you can inform us. It would be easier for us if you have indonesian number so we can track where you are by phone.

Logistical Preparation 5. Alcohol. In Indonesia, it is prohibited to drink in public place.It is also correlate with the local laws. If you want to drink in Indonesia, it's better to go to a private place like clubs or cafes.

TRANSPORTATION FROM JAKARTA TO BANDUNG (TRAVEL & AIRPORT SHUTTLE) • Citi Trans is another airport shuttle in Soekarno Hatta Airport, the ticket fare to bandung from airport is about 15$ or 150.000 idr. You can get citi trans every 1 hour, and the travel time is about 3 hour.
