Youth to Business

Forum

Youth to Business Forum is a premiere event powered by AIESEC that brings together both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space for inspiring conversations around pressing global issues. The forum aims to create an environment where people from diverse backgrounds can cross-pollinate ideas, share insights and gain new perspectives to create actionable outcomes to push the world forward. Leaders will be able to access youth who offer valuable insights into the present opinions, and what the future may look like based on the leadership and behaviours of the next generation. Come ready with your biggest problems, and seek for inspiration to solutions! It’s an environment that helps foster fresh creativity and new perspectives to tackling problems, and by challenging you and the present status quo it will help inspire the creation of your next big idea. The youth leaders represented by current and elected presidents within AIESEC’s operations in 126 countries and territories and have a broad range of experiences, perspective and informed insights – they are 250 engaged and participative leaders who want to create social impact. The Forum generates the Youth to Business Output of ideas and actions, which will be collected and circulated to our network of 100,000 young people, our big alumni community and our partner groups.

HOW CAN WE IMPROVE CROSS-SECTOR COLLABORATION FOR SUSTAINABLE OUTCOMES?

There are many different types of organizations coexisting in this world. We see more and more projects and initiatives that have the same goals, but choose not to collaborate with similar projects to scale-up the impact. For that reason we have decided to focus this year’s Youth to Business Forum on cross-sectorial collaboration. We believe that if many different NGOs, businesses, start-ups and institutions will join efforts, we can create something that will bring positive impact and will be able to make a big difference in the world.
United Nations has decided on Millennium Development Goals in 2000, since then we saw member states, many organizations and institutions creating initiatives to help achieving these targets, we are about to reach the magical year of 2015, where the world was supposed to be ideal. Unfortunately we have failed to reach many of the goals. To continue the efforts the new Sustainable Development Goals will come into existence in late 2015.

We will empower youth to ACT upon world issues, and collaborate with other organizations, businesses, local and national governments to be able to make this world better. By providing a platform for youth leadership development, we make a positive impact on the society and empower leaders of tomorrow.

During Youth to Business Forum: Top Leaders Edition, we want to engage youth in creating a sustainable future. We will create projects that will involve many different stakeholders and will help solve the biggest problems that are touching generation Y.
