The internship process An AIESEC internship is an integral part of the highly motivated members of AIESEC. The Local committee of AIESEC at Lille will help you with your process of selecting an AIESEC intern. The internship generally flow through these steps,
1. Raising of the Internship The internship available with your organization is immediately made available globally to all AIESEC with information on the expected profile of intern.
2. Intern Selection AIESEC Lille will provide you with a list of potential candidates within 5 weeks AIESEC.
3. Intern Selection The organization selects the best suited candidate to be an intern with them, or could ask for more candidates within 2 weeks.
4. Pre-arrival AIESEC Lille helps the incoming intern with legal formalities like visa and work-permit. The intern is also prepared for the cultural shock and will have an accommodation arranged.
5. Community Integration The incoming intern is integrated with in local AIESEC organization socially. The local AIESEC office is available thought out the period of internship to the company and the intern.
6. Internship Extension The internship can be extended up to a total of 18 months. After that the company may choose to employ intern directly.
