The National Leadership Summit is an annual convening of AIESEC in South Africa and its members from all over South Africa, aimed at celebrating youth leadership, cultural diversity and national togetherness. It is also designed to provide space for AIESEC in South Africa’s leaders to learn, develop and acquire knowledge necessary to push the organization forward.
“Your leadership depends on you. You can be a great leader when you can lead yourself well first.” - Richard Norris
The NLS will take place outside South Africa’s biggest city, which is Johannesburg. Three interesting facts about Johannesburg • It is the second biggest city in Africa. • It is the home of Kwaito music, a catchy African house music which was born around the 90s. • 40% of the planet’s human ancestors have been discovered as fossils in Johannesburg area.
We will be staying Magaliesburg, an area outside Johannesburg with a beautiful landscape. Get away from the city hustle together with us and enjoy nature to it’s fullest. You can find some more images here, so you can get an impression of what it will look like: https://therockcampsite.wordpress.com/
