THE ROOF The roof embodies a multi-layered concrete construction, composed of 3 layers: the bearing lower layer, consisting of concrete panels and solid concrete, middle layer of thermal isolation and top layer of thinner poured concrete, covered with a quality membrane material – Protan. This construction of the roof allows to use it as a terrace, place there technical equipment or even build a light building.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING Wirsbo PEX tubing was laid in 100mm steps to provide a uniform heat distribution over the floors. All feeding pipelines from and to manifolds are thermally insulated. High density polystyrol – Styrofoam 250 was installed under all floors. Floors have reinforced steel mesh and poured with concrete with steel fibers.

THE FIREPLACE At the first floor, between the large living room and relaxation room there is a high quality in-wall double-sided fireplace Spartherm. Weighting 350kg and making an impressive 14kw of heat power, this fireplace can be opened from either side, but it is more practical and easy to service it from the relaxation room, where is a own exit to the yard and floor laid with ceramic tiles. Therefore there the sparks, wood chips and ashes never gets into the living room.

DEDICATED HOME THEATER ROOM A 31m2 dedicated home theater room was designed to achieve a commercial cinema performance at a private house. The windowless room with a ceiling of a complex shape was engineered to provide near ideal listening and viewing environment. The professional theatrical sound insulation solution – Ecophon was supplied and installed onto the walls and room top by the same contractor who made it in big cinemas, such as Coca Cola Plaza. There is a 10m2 and 40cm deep niche under the concrete floor where the subwoofer and frontal speakers are located, filled with Keramzit – a granular clay material for additional sound insulation and prevention of sound dispersion through the constructive elements of the building. This highly comfortable home cinema room with custom furniture and professional equipment offers the extraordinary watching, listening and relaxation environment any time of day.
