CONSUMER PROFILE PRETTY LITTLE THING HAVE A CLEAR DEFINED TARGET AUDIENCE, THIS IS SHOWN THROUGH THE CHOICE IN MODELS, FASHION STYLES AND HOW THEY COMMUNICATE TO CONSUMERS THROUGH THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE. TARGETING FEMALES AGED 18-25, WHO ARE CONFIDENT, AHEAD OF STYLES AND LIVE THE SOCIAL LIFESTYLE. THEY WANT TO BE NOTICED, AS THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO BREAK THE RULES. A GIRL WHO CAN WEAR A MINIMALIST SUIT ONE DAY, AND THIGH-HIGH BOOTS THE NEXT, ALWAYS SURROUNDED BY THEIR FRIENDS, THEY LEAD A FULFILLED LIFE, CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR THE NEWEST PLACE TO VISIT OR TRAVEL, PLANNING HER NEXT WEEKEND BEFORE THE LAST ONE HAS EVEN ENDED. IN THEIR SPARE TIME THEY ARE INTERESTED IN BLOGGERS AND CELEBRITIES, TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE ALWAYS KEEPING UP TO DATE WITH THE LATEST STYLES FOR THEIR STRONG SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE, WHERE THEY MAKE DAILY POSTS ON THEIR TAKE IN STYLE, BEAUTY, TRAVEL, EVENTS, ETC.

FOR EXAMPLE PLT ARE KILLING THE FASHION INDUSTRY GLOBALLY, THEIR POPULAR CELEBRITY COLLABORATIONS, TO PRODUCING THE LATEST FASHION GARMENTS, FROM HAVING A VERY QUICK TURN AROUND ON THE LATEST STYLES. THEIR BRAND IMAGE IS VERY CREATIVE, FROM THE USE OF A LOT OF EFFORT IN THEIR STYLING ONLINE PRESENCE, FOR EACH GARMENT THAT IS SOLD. LOOKING AT THE FUTURE, TO EXPAND THE PLT BRAND EVEN FURTHER IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY, THEY COULD PURSUE CERTAIN STRATEGIES, SUCH AS THE NEW TREND OF ‘TRY NOW, PAY LATER’. THIS IS ALREADY IN USE AT ONE OF THEIR MAIN COMPETITORS ASOS. EVEN THOUGH PLT IS FEATURED ON THE ASOS PLATFORM, I STILL BELIEVE THAT THE USE OF THIS TECHNIQUE, WILL EXPAND PLT’S CONSUMERS, AND IN TURN PRODUCE MORE SALES. FROM THE SUCCESS OF PLT’S CELEBRITY COLLECTIONS, ANOTHER AREA THE BRAND MAY WANT TO CONSIDER IS THE USE OF INFLUENCER COLLABORATIONS. THESE HAVE SEEN EXCELLENT RESULTS FOR OTHER BRANDS IN THE ECOMMERCE SECTION OF THE INDUSTRY, SUCH AS, IN THE STYLE AND MISSPAP.
