Luminaire production at the Lahti factory in Finland

The new factory in Lahti will strengthen Airam’s capacity in the production of lighting fixtures for offices and public spaces. The production facility increases the company’s product portfolio and capacity for customization services and ensures that the lighting company’s services will continue to be found nearby.

In September 2021, Airam Electric Oy Ab bought the factory of Sähkö-Lahti Oy, as well as its fixed assets and inventory. The new factory strengthens Airam’s competitiveness, flexibility and production capacity, especially in the field of professional lighting and customized lighting solutions.

New Airam lighting products

Production at the Lahti lighting factory started in the spring of 2022. The

new production facility is specialized in sheet metal luminaires for the needs of offices, public spaces and industry.

Airam’s own factory enables the expansion of the product portfolio, especially in the field of public lighting. Aluminium-framed luminaires, downlights, profiles and ramp luminaires for offices and public spaces are manufactured in Lahti.

Our production in Lahti factory relies on 100% renewable energy, and we utilize recycled aluminum in crafting new lighting models.

Lumino

Lumino is a low-profile, high-quality and long-lasting universal luminaire for residential buildings and public places. The appearance of the luminaire is finished and the light it gives is uniform and high-quality. Thanks to its low structure, the luminaire fits elegantly and discreetly into various spaces and interiors. The lamp is suitable for indoor and outdoor wall and ceiling installations in stairwells and public spaces. Thanks to the IP44 class, you can also install the luminaire in the bathroom and other damp areas. The luminaire has two color temperatures. You can choose from two size options and a sensor versions from both sizes.

Nero

Nero is a dimmable indoor luminaire for wall and ceiling mounting. It functions well in corridors, staircases and other general spaces. The IP44 rated luminaire is also suitable for bathrooms and other wet spaces. The luminaire has a low structure and its design is elegant and minimalistic. The dim function makes the use of the luminaire more versatile. By a switch you can choose the colour temperature from two options. Available in three sizes.

Apus CSP 24V

The high-quality Apus CSP led strip is an excellent lighting solution for spaces that require uniform and indirect lighting. CSP strips do not have visible dots, but give a completely flat, clean and uniform line of light. Slimline Aluminum profile

Slimline Aluminum Profile Kit 2 m is designed for easy and versatile installation of led strips. The cleanly designed profile has a low structure and is suitable for 12 mm wide led strips. Surface installation on the ceiling, wall or, for example, on the lower surfaces of worktops. The kit also contains two ends with a hole and two closed ends and six mounting brackets, which enable two separate fixtures.

Anodised aluminium body, opal UV-protected polycarbonate diffuser.

Cio Multi Accessories

Raising Frame

The Cio Multi raising frame permits the use of surface wiring in mounting of the luminaire. The frame has knockouts on opposite sides, so the luminaires can be linked with connectors. The colour and surface texture match those of the luminaire, to ensure a neat appearance. Raising frames are available for all Cio Multi luminaires, including the PIR model. They are not suitable for use with decorative rings.

Decorative ring

A decorative ring is available as an accessory for the Cio Multi range. It offers an easy and quick way to change the colour of the luminaire. The ring is available in black or chrome colour for all basic models (excluding the PIR model). The decorative ring is attached to the surface of an installed light. With the frame’s magnet, you can attach the decorative ring quickly, seamlessly, and firmly in place.

Cio Multi downlight

Cio Multi is a low-profile, lightweight panel luminaire with a changeable colour temperature, suitable for both surface and semirecessed mounting. The colour temperature is selected from the three options available

prior to installation. Cio Multi is suitable for dry spaces in residential buildings and public spaces, and it is an excellent solution for renovation projects. The luminaire also features a handy adjustable spring clip, which makes it suitable for installation into mounting hole

with a diameter ranging from 55 mm to 250 mm, depending on the size of the product. The PIR model included in the range is particularly suitable for hallways and porches. The luminaires are dimmable (excluding the PIR model). Available in three housing sizes.

Beam Pro

Beam Pro is a spotlight made of aluminium. The luminaires materials and finish are of high quality. The luminaire is installed on a single-phase (1P) or three-phase rail (3P). The design of Beam Pro is elegant and timeless and it is suitable for a wide range of applications. Suitable locations are public spaces, such as restaurants, cafes, hair salons and other small shops, as well as residential buildings. In Beam Pro, changing and installing the light source is particularly easy due to the easy access of the lamp holder. Choose the desired PAR16 GU10 led bulb for the luminaire. You can alter the lighting and atmosphere of the space by choosing the colour temperature, power or beam angle of the lamp. Wireless smart lamps are also an option.

Developed and manufactured in Finland, Vario is a surface-mounted aluminium profile luminaire. The material used in the body is environmentally friendly and 100% recycled aluminum. Thanks to the variety of housing lengths and a wide range of corner pieces, you can create a customised lighting solution that meets your needs. Plano Pro

Plano Pro is a new-generation, energy-efficient and versatile modular luminaire with a huge range of applications. The luminaire’s excellent colour rendering index, UGR value (<19) and IP44 class make it an ideal choice for almost any application. Thanks to its energy-efficiency, Plano Pro is suitable for public spaces such as corridors, lobbies and open-plan offices. Because of its low UGR value, the luminaire can be used in schools, day-care centres and spaces where computers are used. The bottom part of the luminaire has an IP44 classification, making it suitable for dusty and humid spaces. A variety of installation accessories are available for the luminaire, including cover sheets for the round light opening and accessories for surface and recessed mounting. Sports facilities luminaire Sport is a made of high-quality materials for high spaces. In the design of the luminaire, we have listened the wishes of our customers as much as possible. The traditional ball protection grid has been replaced with a clear polycarbonate reflector, which gives the light distribution very evenly over the illuminated area. Luminaires pull-out connection strip and integrated surface mounting brackets make installation very easy. The surface mounting brackets are slotted to fit the most common suspension rails. The high-quality reflector material and strong steel frame safely absorb impacts from all directions. Sport is ball protection tested as required by the VDE 0710-13 standard. The 100% Finnish Sport luminaires are designed and manufactured at Airam’s factory in Lahti.

Svea

Svea is a versatile and quickly installed industrial luminaire. Applications include industrial halls and warehouses. Equipped with a ball protection grid, the luminaire is also suitable for sports halls. The luminaire is wired through, so its connection and installation is very fast. The luminaire can be installed directly on the ceiling surface, on a suspension rail or on a horizontal suspension wire with the rail bracket integrated into the luminaire. A wide selection of different optics and options for lighting control are available in the product series. With double parabolic louver available as an additional accessory, the product is also suitable for locations where glare-free lighting is required.

Futura Nano PC

Futura Nano PC is a low-UGR industrial luminaire utilizing advanced nano-coating. The luminaire is designed for locations where, in addition to high-quality lighting, energy efficiency, a long lifetime and freedom from maintenance are valued. In addition to high-quality light, the unique optical solution guarantees excellent efficiency and toplevel impact resistance. The luminaire can be installed in industrial premises, warehouses and parking facilities and is also suitable for cold spaces. Easy and uncomplicated installation is made possible by several features: ready wiring, spring connector bars on both ends and latches that stay closed in the luminaire body.

• UV-stabilised polycarbonate housing (PC) and structured UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser (nano-coating), stainless steel latches. Grey.
