Nouméa's World War II Museum is hosting a new exhibition, "Women at the Hear t of Conflict", to mark the 70 th anniversary of the first elections in which French women were able to cast their ballot. The exhibition is designed around 5 themes: women fighters, women activists, everyday life for women during the war, women in love in the midst of war and women's achievement of voting rights and the right to stand for election.
