Project type- Architectural. Location- Pune, Maharashtra. Year-2016. Purpose- Public recreational and Tourist attraction. Role- Concept and Design developement, 3D modelling and rendering. Guide- Ar. Vinayak Patil. “An abode of Music and Architecture.” MUSIC GIVES SOUL TO THE UNIVERSE, WINGS TO THE MIND, FLIGHT TO THE IMAGINATION AND LIFE TO EVERYTHING. Music is a part of architecture- the acoustics of the building, the sound of the city, inspire you and give you a connection to it. Thus, architecture is strongly influence by the way spaces change sound and we are influenced by such spaces. This thesis aims to break the dominance of sight and examine the relationship between Music and Architecture as an emotional experience.

The most basic element that comprises ‘Indian Classical Music’ are Swar and Taal. Swar(note) are a group of frequencies comprising a musical score. These musical notations are alphabets of Indian Classical music. The transitional nodes of the campus are based on seven notations of Indian Classical Music
The site is divided into seven zones based on the musical notes and the tonal qualities.
Forming a framework for the planning of the campus based on the seven notations.

Cultural cohesure
railway station foreground and bus terminus.
Project type- Urban. Location- Belgaum, Karnataka. Year-2015. Purpose- Transit hub and Public recreational. Role- Documentation & analysis (team of 7) , spot level intervention, concept and design development, 3D modelling and rendering. Guide- Prof. Oulkar Designing a complete transit hub is the main idea for the entire zone. Retaining the facade characteristics of the station was the secondary focus for the designing therefore the facade was left untouched. RAILWAY STATION is considered to be a Gateway into any city therefore it should showcase the culture of the city .For this a transformable, multi-use ‘Cultural Platform’ is proposed which could serve as a platform to the local artists to showcase their talent and hence it showcases the cultural identity of the city. This design blends together the urban fabric of the city with its Cultural roots. To identify ‘what is’ and ‘what was’ and retaining them in order to provide a city level intervention was the main aim.

HISTORY: -The railway service was introduced in the district in the 1887 and is located in Shastri Nagar, Shahpur, Belgavi. It is on the Indian railway grid, being part of the South Western, it was started for the movement of resources and later troops was one of the mains to exert control over India by the British. -The Londa -Vasco line was commissioned in 1888 which is 33 miles in length and is called the Belgaum branch. However, the construction started as early as 1880. -The railway line was laid with urban development in mind such that the lines merely passed by the parameters of these areas thus allowing plenty of area for growth of the city and also not disrupting the activity within the area.

Project type- Interior design. Location- Mumbai, Maharashtra. Year-2015. Purpose- Dental clinic. Role- Concept and design development, 3D modelling and rendering. Guide- Ar. Sheetal & Sachin Patil. In the design the concept is been brought into visuality through splines or trails of cove lights. These lights act as guiding elements and connecting elements too. Thus a uniformity between transition of spaces is achieved by varying harmony along with uniting the design idea.

Redefining a paradox
conceptual design of museum of knowedge
Project type- Architectural. Location- Chandigarh, Punjab. Year-2015. Purpose- Tourist attraction and Public recreational. Role- Concept and design development, 3D modelling, rendering and presentation. “Utopia lies at the horizon. When I draw nearer by two steps; it retreats two steps. If I proceed ten steps forward, it swiftly slips ten steps ahead. No matter how far I go, I can never reach it. What, then is the purpose of utopia? It is to cause us to advance. The Le Corbusier vision of Utopia is strict, rigid and opaque. He had a disciplined approach towards things. His eyes dreamed of worlds that could never exist; of sharp straight, lines, perpendicular angles, of singularity in materials, of awe-inspiring monotony. His passionate approach to unemotional architecture is a paradox in itself. The path from start to finish is an ode to the Indian vernacular, with the sacredness of spaces snowballing in time to make a temple-like experience. The harsh dry heat of Chandigarh countered by the incoming breeze swimming over the large expanse of the water body makes an unexpected invitation point to the complex.

Rakshak
conceptual design of Indian national war museum
Project type- Architectural. Location- Delhi, India. Year-2016. Purpose- Tourist attraction and Public recreational. Role- Concept and design development, 3D modelling, rendering and presentation (team of 8). “India has never attacked any country, nor has it ever coveted anyone’s territory” -Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 2nd Oct 2016 -We go to War to protect our peace, We are a peace Nation ! Rakshak– The Indian National War Museum, is designed around the theme of protector of the Nation. The Museum celebrates, glorifies and honors our brave armed forces. The theme of protection is also carried forward in the building envelope. Where a double skin facade protects the structure from the elements, and makes for a more sustainable and ecologically sensitive architecture. The Barrel Shroud of a Gun - A safety feature designed to Protect from hand burns . The exterior envelope of the facade, is modeled on the concept of a Barrel Shroud.

DOUBLE SKIN FACADE We are deploying a twin wall facade system. The external perforated skin, made of sandstone, is used to protect the building from the solar radiation on the East and West Facade, while allowing for Natural Light to permeate through. The internal skin varies depending on the internal use in that location. The air space in between the two skins acts as an insulation air cushion. The air cushion is cooled using an active stack effect. Reducing the heat gains from the facade, while also reducing the burden on the cooling systems. Other Sustainable Strategies used are - Grey water recycling for Landscape, a combination of Solar PV panels for generation of energy and Green Roofs towards insulation of the slabs.

Filigree court Project type- Interior. Location- Bangalore, Karnataka. Year-2016. Purpose- Residential. Role- Concept representation and presentation drawings The intention was to look for synergies between the life and architecture both in California and India, and design a house that was truly modern with traditional planning and values. The design is a play on the courtyards and lines. Courtyards and planning are inspired from the traditional indian Haveli’s, and the lines and transparency inspired from the mid-century modern architects of California. The approach was to work from the outside in, making the defunct courtyard the heart of the house.
The Filigree Screen was designed to serve the need of security and eliminating grills on the doors and windows also added a third dimension to the space. Articulating the light that falls into the court and keeping it active through the day.

Staged landscape Project type- Architecture. Location- Belagavi, Karnataka. Year-2017. Purpose- Educational. Role- Concept and design development, program development, 3D modelling, rendering and presentation. The major design philosophy used was that of modular planning, and everything being proportionate to everything. Planning started with simply creating bands of greens and built and led to the strategic interration of these elements into space-making. Several design iterations led to the final outcome where the spaces that were created at the intersection of the green and built acted as the informal learning spaces for the school. The zoning is laid out considering the security and climatic aspects of the site, as the major focus was the well-being of the students and an effort to create liveable atmospheres in the campus.

Shaded outdoor buffer zones oriented to the prevailing breezes.
Orient broad building surfaces away from the hot western sun. Northern and southern exposures are easily shaded.

Traditional aesthetics Project type- Architecture. Location- Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Year-2018. Purpose- Residential. Role- Concept and design development, Site coordination, program development, 3D modelling, rendering and presentation. The project brief was simple, as the client wanted a house amidst the culturally rich locality of kolhapur which is known to preserve its traditional roots. Thus, the strong context demanded a traditional approach. Certain elements proposed in the residence are derived from the traditional architecture aging back hundreds of years. The house is in harmony with nature, with family spaces sandwiched in between landscape on either sides. The house is also sensitive to the traditional notions of communal living and the importance of community
